Lichtenstein-Style Gouache Illustration

3 ratings | 53 views
I randomly decided to try painting in the vibrant, bold style of Roy Lichtenstein. It doesn't look nearly as intense as it felt while I was painting. Compared the typically soft, more natural approach I take to painting, this felt like I was using the paintbrush equivalent of a hammer! But ultimately I liked it enough to put on the nightstand next to my bed, so that's good! - MY WEBSITE::: https://missmarck.com/ MY COMIC::: http://dazerandeleanor.smackjeeves.com/ MY SHOP::: http://missmarck.storenvy.com/ - MUSIC Credit this piece by copying the following to your credits section: "Bass Vibes" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ "Opportunity Walks" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Ohhh, I really like this! I think it’s awesome that you challenged yourself in this way - what an awesome experiment! Dazer can hang out on the nightstand next to my bed anytime. :D

It was very strange to paint something so bold and saturated but I definitely learned a lot!
