Something I wanted to give you a head's up on is Hazbin Hotel by Vivziepop. An episode will premiere next year here on youtube, and it's already causing some waves with the trailer and some clips. This sucker might just take off. Why post it on this video? I figure you deserve some joy from this video...

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the movie. it seems the more classic, fun monster type movies are your cup of tea. but is it okay if I recommend "it comes at night"; I see it as a psychological thriller but it's considered a horror film on Wikipedia. it's basically about these two families surviving in the middle of the woods after a disease outbreak and the families slowly turning against each other. I hope you find another movie more to your liking

Montana Sizemore (5 months ago)
Eh maybe you'll finish a movie before you review it next time, that would be cool

tl;dr version: i'm Josh Scorcher and i don't like intellectual movies.
S.E. Rowan (5 months ago)
or maybe he's not comfortable with the subject matter of this particular film. not everyone can stomach those types of topics and its nothing to be ashamed of.
Julio Montoya (5 months ago)
Eeyup, I get this feeling distressingly often: "But its meant to be Dark and ugly and depressing and uncomfortable" "Well then, why would I want to watch it then?" Still waiting for Paranorman BTW
TheSlayFer Ch. T. (5 months ago)
Josh, you clearly don't have the stomach for more extreme horror movies.
Ratchetfan321 (5 months ago)
Honestly based on your reviews so far I feel you dont want anything real, has dark themes, psychological, blood gore, sexuality ect ect. You might just want to stick to the classic monster flicks and freddy / jason type classics.

For a film you might enjoy try The Endless. Recently came on netflix and it is true lovecraftian horror brought to film. The two main actors are also the directors and one of them is the writer. They made something special that is bizarre, lovecraftian, but yet very grounded and relatable. Its not super disturbing and its very subtle in execution, it is very fun to watch.

This movie is meant to make you uncomfortable. Its a truly disturbing character study of what a girl has gone through over the years and trying to fight against the so called demons in her life. It sucks you didnt enjoy this film since its so well praised by everyone who watched it but i kind of get it. I guess im more used to films having disturbing nature, sadly would definately not reccomend mother! Which i would consider my favorite film of 2017....

Avoid Dark Harbour. I highly suggest Wes Craven's New Nightmare. It's easily the best Nightmare film.
Liberty Patriot (5 months ago)
This movie sounds like an exposition.

I personally love this movie as its my current Steven King film. However, I understand that movies like this aren't for everyone, so don't worry josh. I'm not mad lol.
Blaze the Planeswalker (5 months ago)
if you haven't watched it try army of the dead I thought it was alright not to be confused with army of darkness which is a great film
Serena Lara Gonzalez (5 months ago)
This movie sounds dirty and scary

I recommend Stephen King’s Sleepwalkers. It’s crazy, but in the more fun sense, and with possibly the best Stephen King cameo ever in my opinion.
Kato86 (5 months ago)
I'm pretty sure it's meant to be uncomfortable, deeply so... and not the usual kind of cheaper horror. But I understand it's not something everyone enjoys. No reason to feel bad if you cannot stomach something that's too real.
Kato86 (5 months ago)
Oh, it's not an excuse for all things. Human Centipede might have also been meant to make you uncomfortable but that's not saying I'm going to praise it. But I feel GG is a more... well, how do I put it? Sophisticated kind of uncomfortable?
Julio Montoya (5 months ago)
I'm not sure. I'm actually a bit miffy when I hear something is "meant to be that way". Like how "Freddy Got Fingered" was "meant to be awful
Honey Drop the Unicorn (5 months ago)
Try Critters it pretty good
ShutUpAdachi (5 months ago)
I thought it was fantastic. A protagonist struggling with messed up trauma and finally escaping the shackles, figurative and literal, that's kept them chained for so long, outright staring the representation of death in the face and saying "You're nothing", it's really cathartic stuff. It's uncomfortable yes, but it's pretty clearly going for that for reasons beyond mere shock value.
Jhen Mohran (5 months ago)
Cujo Christine I recommend both of those movies
William Crowe (5 months ago)
You probably should've watched Creepshow instead. I mean, as far as Stephen King movies go.
Gameking40 (5 months ago)
Josh, be honest, are going down the Nostalgia Critic's top 11 Stephen King list?
