Hello and thanks for this tutorial. I'm new to sqlite3 but shouldn't you call sqlite3_finalize() on the statement when done, if you're going to use sqlite3_prepare_v2() and sqlite3_step() ?? Also it would be nice to add updateEntry(), findEntry() and deleteEntry() for the completeness of the tutorial. Thanks again.

Just finished all parts of this exercise. Great job, I love the way you explain everything. Can't wait to start another one of your lessons. Keep up the good work, it IS appreciated! I have some experience with languages like Python, Ruby, and PHP. This is really helping me learn Objective-C and Xcode. Thanks again.

In order to be able to delete, would we need to use an ID? Or can we delete a row based on the date or something else?
sh4keNbake (6 years ago)

Hey thanks for the great videos :) Im quite new to programming. Quick question. I see that we are reusing a few bits on code in the second viewController scaling this up would it be good practice to put the code we are going to use more than once in a sperate class and call that when it is needed? Like a Database function class. Thanks again!
