Someone: What colours are you gonna use Me: Yes.
Epic (4 months ago)
White and Red seems the best for me I'm gonna try those colors together
Thegamingcactus (4 months ago)
I'm not a beginner but I'm gonna watch it
Patrick Hlavinka (5 months ago)
I was gonna say red is the noob color. Very rush style deck. White and green is going for the long game. Black and Blue are just annoying.
Amethyst Sea Eggos (2 months ago)
Patrick Hlavinka I’ve always considering green a better colour for new players, due to it’s emphasis on brute force. Black and Blue aren’t annoying bitch

Learned how to play magic a couple days ago from a buddy then the next day he let me build my own deck from all the cards he wasnt using in his other decks for 10 bucks and then I beat him with the green white deck I built 4 games in a row. This video definitely confirms green white was the right way to go for the way I wanna play, lots of creatures, mana, and life

Would a black green deck work
Tyler Morrison (3 months ago)
Yeah I run a pretty good green-black deck about my graveyard
Tyler Haynie (8 months ago)
This helped so much. Thankyou!

Where’s part 2?

I’m sort of new to magic, but I think eventually after getting a few good cards, a red white deck would be good. Because red gives to haste and damages your opponents, and white buffs your creatures, so it boosts all of your attacks, essentially creating bigger combos.
Inky Splaters (9 months ago)
I may make a white/black deck, white/red deck, or black/red deck.
ChronoRebel_GreatGryffon (9 months ago)
Pure red ?
Brynner Eang (8 months ago)
Mono red is fun, but expensive if you want something good. I usually stay away from it just because of cost.

It cuts your credibility when you spell "a lot" which is TWO WORDS as one. A meaning one (used before plural nouns that are preceded by a quantifier singular in form) and LOT as in many. It's not ALOT.

That is alot of time spent in that comment when you could have done alot of other things with that time like buying alot of magic cards or alot of bananas.

Tbh I think the explanations are not very good. You start talking about very specific aspects of the game. Instead of e.g. saying "red is a aggressive, emotional, fast colour", you start explaining about haste and how important it is for red. Or take black. If you dont know about MTG, and you tell a New Player "black is all about winning and putting -1/-1 counters on stuff", it's Just hard to grasp the essence of a colour.
Where_the_wild_winds_blow (11 months ago)
What i Wanna say is that you should have focused more on what the essences of the colours are, but you lose yourself in specifics on the one hand and hyperbole on the other. For the Sake of a short Video explaining the colours thats too much
Nessmess (1 year ago)
im thinking of a black-green or black-blue deck. Ideally I'd mix all three, but I think i should wait till im more experienced :)
Penguin pingu (4 months ago)
maybe a white red
EmSpace (1 year ago)
I use green and black So I will put down a 5/5 and then put a +2+2 on it. But I just wanted to watch this to see if I would be good with ether adding a color or using a different color
Borne Destiny (1 year ago)
So basically a black white deck is pretty op sense black is about winning and with white u basically get alot of life and u buff everything so a white black deck should be pretty good right ?
machineunit (8 months ago)
Dragon King red/white, red/green, blue/black, and blue/red are all really good combos
DrJoGaming (1 year ago)
Sort of. You could make some pretty cool W/B decks. It could either be a Life gain Vampire Aggro / Token deck, or even a W/B Control deck that removes threats and gains Life to win purely through "out valueing" your opponent. Great question btw - hope the video was helpful.

I have a blue-black combo right now. Any advice of how to play it well?
PinkGalaxy (7 days ago)
Put down as many black creatures in the beginning, then use blue to boost your gameplay, creatures, health, and overall game
