03:04
Please watch: "3 Quick and Easy Toddler Hairstyles for Beginners" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oNq4dbaBkI -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- This simple girl hairstyle is one that you can do on toddler hair, little girl's hair and beyond that as well! It's perfect when you are trying to grow out bangs or have hair in the front that isn't quite long enough to pull back in a ponytail. The secret to this style is the topsy tail tool. You can do the flips headband without this tool, but it will make your life that much easier. We have used it on a lot of our styles. Check out our favorite hair products to purchase the topsy tail tool: http://easytoddlerhairstyles.com/style-toddler-hair-favorite-products/ Also, please check out our tutorial on how to curl toddler hair for more tips on how to get great curls! https://youtu.be/lpozWcQJv0k Please give us a thumbs up and subscribe! 5 Minute Girl's Hairstyle: Diagonal Braid and Twists

02:37
Most days, we are all about simple hairstyles. This 5 minute girl's hairstyle is very simple but unique! Our favorite hair elastics and gel: *aff links* Herbal Essences Spray gel: http://amzn.to/2oFcrBO Proclaim Rubber Bands: http://amzn.to/2oGdaTR This style only utilizes the front section of the hair, so you can do it even if you have toddler with very short hair. You'll part the hair in a diagonal and in 3 different parts. The first part will be a diagonal ponytail. The second part will be split down the middle and include 2 ponytails. The third part will have 3 ponytails. From here, you simply want to braid the first ponytail, and twist back the second ponytails. You'll add them all to the third ponytail and you are done! Half Up Sectioned Braid Preschool Hairstyle

03:14
I love the look of this half up sectioned braid, it's an awesome preschool hairstyle! It sort of looks like our faux dutch braid that we did a few weeks ago, but can be done with hair of all lengths. If you have a toddler that has short or thin hair, make your first section bigger than the rest so that you have more hair for the braid! Shop a few of our favorite toddler hair products here: Herbal Essences Spray gel: http://amzn.to/2oFcrBO Proclaim Rubber Bands: http://amzn.to/2vbVuWY Want to learn how to do this cute preschooler hairstyles? Step by step tutorial: 1. Part out a middle section in the hair. You are going to leave a little bit of hair down on both sides and part it back to the crown. 2. With this front section, part 1-2" sections at a diagonal until you have 4 sections. 3. Comb down sections 2 and 3 and connect them to section 4. 4. Create a 3 strand braid with section 1 and then connect it to section 3. 5. Pancake out your braid, or pull at the edges to make it look fuller. It will also help cover sections 2 and 3! Cascading Weaved Elastics, Little Girl Hairstyle

04:09
I love this cascading weaved elastics hairstyle so much and I hope that you do to! We have done this style a few different times and gotten so many compliments! To start this style, you want to section off two areas in the front and two in the back. With the front sections, you will create 4 ponies from front to back on each side. This will create 8 total sections. Next, take your front left ponytail and cross it to your right 4th ponytail. Hold it in place with a clip. You will repeat this on the right side. Cross your first right ponytail to your 4th left ponytail. You will repeat this step with the 2nd and 3rd ponytail, adding them to the 4th. If you prefer, you can put your pigtails in and cross them over to the pigtails. I'm crossing them over to the 4th ponytail so that you have the option to use this as a half up style, low pigtails or high pigtails. Once all ponies are crossed, you will secure each side with an elastic and add to pigtails! Please give us a thumbs up and subscribe! Flower Girl Hairstyle, Dutch Crown Braid

02:57
Today's tutorial is a flower girl hairstyle, the dutch crown braid. This toddler hairstyle can be dressed up for a special occasion or church, or down for everyday where. If you aren't sure how to dutch braid, check out my tutorial for dutch braids here: https://youtu.be/EKd8QgtE-fk I actually prefer this hairstyle a bit messy as opposed to tight like a lot of my other hairstyles. You can achieve a messy look by pancaking out the hair after the braid is done. I also use a topsy tail tool in this style to thread the end pieces into the braid. You can purchase the topsy tail tool here: http://amzn.to/2pEsr8w Lastly, we added fresh lilacs to this style. They lasted about 4-5 hours before they started to wilt but looked and smelled other beautiful in her hair! You could add artificial flowers to this style or any other small flower. Toddler Girl Hairstyles - Front Braid Split Into Pigtail Braids

02:13
Please watch: "3 Quick and Easy Toddler Hairstyles for Beginners" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oNq4dbaBkI -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Toddler girl hairstyles don't have to be hard! In fact, this one is fairly easy and can be done in less than ten minutes. To achieve this cute toddler girls hairstyle, you want to part out a piece of hair up in the front. From there, you'll secure it in an elastic. I like to use the proclaim elastic rubber bands and then cut them out at the end of the day. They are super stretchy and won't break the hair. After I have the front part of this hairstyle secured, I will split the remaining hair down the middle and put those two sections into pigtails. The next step is to go back to the top part of the hair and split it down the middle. You will braid each of these sections into braid and then add them to each of the pigtails. The pigtails you will also braid. Please give us a thumbs up and subscribe! Easy Messy Buns and Fanned Braids

02:58
Please watch: "3 Quick and Easy Toddler Hairstyles for Beginners" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oNq4dbaBkI -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Easy Messy Buns and Fanned Braids - An awesome active hairstyle! We all know that our toddlers move a lot. I love hairstyles that stay put and this one definitely does. Your toddler or little girl's hair should be at or below the shoulders for this style. I mention this in the video, but messy buns are much easier to do if you don't pull too big of a loop through when doing them at first. If your child has longer hair and you make the loop too big, the bun will be floppy. It's better to start with a smaller loop and then pull the hair out here and there after you have your bun created then do to a loop that is too big. The braids add a fun pop to this hairstyle and it can be done in about 10 minutes. Enjoy recreating! Little Girls Hairstyle - Side Knot Into Bubble Ponies

02:01
Please watch: "3 Quick and Easy Toddler Hairstyles for Beginners" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oNq4dbaBkI -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Welcome back for another little girls hairstyle! This particular toddler hairstyle gives a fun and different look while still being fairly simple. This is an elastic hairstyle, and I've linked the elastics that I like to use below. Make sure to CUT the elastics out with a pair of scissors or a seam ripper at the end of the night. Do not pull them out, it will damage the hair. Please give us a thumbs up and subscribe! 3 Split Ponies Into Pigtails

03:29
We've been on a kick with toddler pigtail styles lately! This 3 split ponies into pigtails should take you about 10 minutes to do and is another great summer hairstyle! Products used in this video: (aff links) Hot Tot Pomade: http://amzn.to/2swxb3G Herbal Essences Spray Gel: http://amzn.to/2oFcrBO Proclaim Elastics: http://amzn.to/2oGdaTR Duck Bill Clips: http://amzn.to/2s1K1n1 Messy Bun Tutorial: https://youtu.be/PpuM6hncPNk 3 Split Ponies Into Pigtails Directions: 1. Start by sectioning a small piece up front and center. It should be about 3" by 3". Comb this section out and secure it into an elastic. 2. For our second ponytail, you are going to part the hair around the first one. So you will part hair on the left, right and back of the ponytail. Smooth this out and secure in a ponytail. 3. We will create on more ponytail by sectioning the hair all of the way around and then secure it in a ponytail. 4. With the rest of the hair, you will split it down the ponytail and add each side to a pigtail. 5. Lastly, you will split each ponytail down the middle and add them to the pigtails. I use some pomade to keep the hair nice and smooth for this! 6. I ended this style with messy buns, but you can do braided pigtails, rope twists, or leave them as regular pigtails! Faux Fishtail Flips Into Pigtails

03:13
I love how faux fishtail flips are so easy and give the illusion that you've actually done a fishtail braid! This fun and easy toddler style is a unique look and can be done in about 10-15 minutes. To do a faux fishtail flip, you simply separate the hair into two and flip the hair through it. This is demonstrated in the tutorial! Cute Summer Hairstyle: Upward Elastics & Messy Bun

04:36
I have a cute summer hairstyle for you today, upward elastics and a high messy bun. This one is perfect to help your little one beat the heat as it keeps the hair off of their neck. It's great for toddlers, little girls and older girls as well! To shop my favorite detangler that we use every day click here: http://amzn.to/2uHFadA (affiliate link) Here's the tutorial on how to get this cute summer hairstyle 1. Part the hair into two sections, top and bottom. My bottom section has a little less hair and you can add more or less, depending on your preference. 2. Secure the top section into a high ponytail. I used a couple elastics on this part as my daughter's hair is thick and I wanted it to hold. 3. Part the back section into 6 equal parts. You will do this by parting the hair directly down the middle and then securing 3 ponytails on the right and 3 on the left. 4. Take the bottom right and left ponytails, twist them towards each other and then secure them with an elastic or rubber band, up about 1". Secure loosely with a duck bill clip up to your top ponytail. 5. Repeat this with the second right and left ponytails. Twist them towards each other and then secure an elastic about an inch up. Secure this section and repeat one more time with your top right and left ponytails. 6. Once you have all of these sections together, add all 3 to the top ponytail with an elastic. 7. Create a high messy bun with your top ponytail! This style will take about 10 minutes from start to finish and works best on wet or damp hair. Please give us a thumbs up and subscribe! Side Front Flips + How to use a Topsy Tail Tool

03:54
I'm bringing you a side front flips hairstyle today and will also show you how to use a topsy tail tool or do flips if you don't have one. The topsy tail tools are very inexpensive and we use ours all of the time. They hold up well and you can BUY A TOPSY TAIL TOOL HERE: http://amzn.to/2wCTubT (aff link) You can buy cheaper versions of the topsy tail, but they honestly don't hold up, they break easily. Stay with the Conair version, it's definitely worth it! How to do a flip on a toddler hairstyle without a topsy tail tool: Start with a ponytail. It can incorporate as much hair as you want. If you are using a smaller amount of hair, make sure the ponytail is smooth and free of flyaways. Split the ponytail in half and flip the hair through the top part of the split, pulling it all of the way through. How to do a flip using the topsy tail tool: Use the pointed part of the tool and insert it right down the middle of the ponytail, between the scalp and the elastic. Pull the tail of the hair through the loop and then pull the topsytail tool through to the bottom of the ponytail. It seems confusing to write it out, but if you watch the video, it's actually a really simple process. These back to school hairstyles will definitely be a hit! We've teamed up with Tessi and Quincy from Q's hairdos to bring you two adorable styles today. To see Quincy's hairstyle click here: https://youtu.be/2khR0uRs3tk We will be showing you the hooked ponies hairstyle in this video. Here's how to get these cute hooked ponies on your little girl just in time for back to school. 1. Part the hair down the middle from the forehead to the crown and then on either side. 2. With these two front sections, create 4 ponytails on either side. Make sure your ponytails are positioned towards the outer part of the head so that you have more room for your hooks. 3. Take the ponytail on the front right and the ponytail on the front left. Cross the left over the right and then around it. 4. Connect to the ponytails behind. So your left ponytail will come back to the left ponytail behind and it and the same with the right. It seems confusing, but I've demonstrated it slowly in the video. 5. Front Pull Through Braids + How to Take Out Elastic Styles

05:58
I am so excited to show you this front pull through braids toddler hairstyle today and also show you how to safely take out elastic hairstyles on your toddler without breaking their hair. This is a style that will wear well for a couple of days. Because it is so elastic heavy, I show you at the end of the video how to safely take out the elastics without breaking your little girl's hair. Here's the how to and tutorial on doing this front pull through braids hairstyle: 1. Part the hair down the middle and then from the forehead to the crown. 2. Secure the rest of the hair into a loose ponytail so it is out of the way. 3. Create 5-6 ponytails on the right front section and 5-6 ponytails on the left front section. 4. Once you have the ponytails in, take the first ponytail on the left side, split it in and half and secure it to the third ponytail with an elastic. Pancake the sides of the area you just secured by pulling gently on the sides and sort of feathering it out. 5. Continue this pattern, splitting the next ponytail in half, bringing it around the ponytail behind it and securing it to the ponytail behind that. So ponytail 1 will secure to 3, ponytail 2, will secure to 4 and so on. 6. Repeat steps 4-6 on the opposite side. How to Part Toddler and Little Girl Hair

04:59
I've had so many questions on how to part toddler and little girl hair. I thought I would show you a video tutorial on how to part out hair as well as some tips and tricks on how to tame fly away hair. Products suggested and used in this video: Salon Styling Combs: http://amzn.to/2w6PlM2 Hot Tot Conditioning Detangler: http://amzn.to/2wfrt9B It's a 10 Leave in Conditioner and Heat protectant: http://amzn.to/2w7hym1 Wet/Dry Hairbrush: http://amzn.to/2vIeRWU Fine Mist Spray Bottle: http://amzn.to/2w6SWK0 Hot Tot Structure Whip/Pomade: http://amzn.to/2vNIu7B Herbal Essences Spray Gel: http://amzn.to/2vI5VAV Here are some tips that I cover in this video when parting out toddler hair: 1. Part out on damp hair instead of dry, it's much easier to get a clean and concise part. 2. Comb the hair to each side of the part after parting to see if there are any areas that you need to fix. 3. Part with quick, concise motion. When you part slowly, it makes room for error, especially with a wiggly toddler. 4. When parting out back styles, keep your little one at eye level. Those are my top tips and I hope they help!! Please give us a thumbs up and subscribe! Ponytail Faux Dutch Braids

06:07
Ponytail Faux Dutch Braids! You totally don't have to know how to dutch braid to master this one. It's perfect for the pool, adorable on any little girl and how awesome are the part lines because of the ponytails? Before we get started, get our favorite elastics here: http://amzn.to/2tkQ1Ja (Don't forget to cut them out at the end of the night with a pair of scissors, nail clippers, seam ripper. Your child and their hair will thank you!) Let's get started on this faux dutch braid look for toddlers and little girls. 1. Part the hair directly down the middle from the forehead and all the way back to the nape of the neck. Work on damp hair, it'll be easier because toddler hair is so fine! 2. Section 6 ponytails on each side. My sections are 2-3" and yours may be smaller or bigger depending on your child's head. 3. With the front right ponytail, start a 3 strand braid. You'll want to braid under with each strand so that the braid stays close to the head while you are adding in hair from the ponytails. So here's how the pattern goes: right hair goes under the middle, left hair under the middle, right under the middle and so on. 4. When you have braided back to the second ponytail, you'll start adding hair. Bring your right strand under the middle and add 1/3 of the ponytail to that strand. Then bring the left strand under and add 1/3 of the ponytail to that strand. Bring the right side under one more time and add the last 1/3 of the hair. From here, you will continue a 3 strand braid until you get to the next ponytail. 5. Keep the dutch braid close to the ponytail and scalp, bringing the pieces back into the braid. Don't pull up on the braid while you are doing it, it will make your ponytails stick up. 6. Repeat step 4 until you are out of ponytails. Do a 3 strand braid all the way to the bottom and secure off with an elastic. 7. Repeat all steps on opposite side! Please give us a thumbs up and subscribe! Back Crossed Heart Hairstyle

04:53
Back Crossed Heart Hairstyle Here's another cute back style for you all! It's pretty simple but will take you 10-15 minutes to do. Before I explain the style, I wanted to let you know that Nova and I are doing a Q&A in a couple of weeks! It's your turn to ask any questions that you want. They can be hair related or just about Nova and me. I honestly don't do personal intros a lot because I'm a busy mom of 4 and we do hair videos first thing in the morning or after I've worked out at the gym and I'm not exactly styling, lol. Anyways, ask your questions below and we will try to answer as many as we can. How to get this Back Crossed Heart Hairstyle: 1. Part the hair down the middle from the front to the back of the head. 2. Part side to side 1/3 up from the bottom of the head. From here, you should have 3 sections, two front pigtails and a back section./ 3. Secure the two front sections into pigtails. 4. Part out the back area into 3 sections and secure into ponytails. 5. Split the middle ponytail into two and create 2 rope twists. The rope twist on the right, you will connect to the front right ponytail and the rope twist on the left, you will connect to the front left ponytail. 6. Create a rope twist with the bottom left ponytail and cross it up to the right ponytail. 7. Do one more rope twist with the bottom right ponytail and cross it up to the left. 8. Flattened Bubble Braid Ponytail

03:54
This flattened bubble braid is a great style for short and long hair as you are only using the front. By pulling the hair out on the sides instead of the top like a traditional bubble braid, you get a flattened ornament type look, it's really cute and funky. This style is simple and should only take 5- 10 minutes to do. 4 Strand Ribbon Braid Tutorial & Hairstyle

04:08
Please watch: "3 Quick and Easy Toddler Hairstyles for Beginners" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oNq4dbaBkI -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- This 4 strand ribbon braid tutorial will hopefully be a helpful one for you! I love the look of the 4 strand ribbon braid but it was honestly pretty tricky for me at first. In this style, I use 1/8" ribbon to give it the accent effect. If you use ribbon that is wider, your braid may not look the same but will be still be cute! For this braid, you will have 4 strands. Strand 1: hair Strand 2: hair Strand 3: ribbon Strand 4: hair You'll start by crossing strand 1 over strand two and under strand 3 (the ribbon) Then you'll repeat on the other side, only this time you will cross strand 4 under and then over. There is a portion of this video that is very slow to illustrate exactly how to do this braid. Once you get the hang of it, it is fairly easy and is a fun way to add a pop of color to any toddler hairstyle! This simple hairstyle of stairstep ponies was inspired by Pretty Hair is Fun. It's a style we've done a lot and is super simple and cute. It should only take about 5 minutes from start to finish and is a great beginner hairstyle if you have a toddler! Twisted Bangs Into Pigtails

02:06
This style is quick, easy and great for girls that are growing out bangs. You can adjust the height of the pigtails if you have shorter bangs that wont reach to a lower pigtail. It's important that this toddler hairstyle is done with damp and wet hair. I also use spray gel to get a nice and clean look. You can shop that spray gel and all of our other favorite products here: http://astore.amazon.com/easytoddlerhairstyles-20 (aff link) To achieve this look: 1. Part out the bangs at the front of the head. I sectioned it wider towards the forehead and brought it in more narrow as I went farther back. Then loosely secure this area. 2. Part the rest of the hair down the middle and secure your remaining hair into two pigtails. 3. At this point, we will come back to the front section. I'll spray it down with more water and spray gel so that I get a sleek look and bangs that stay put all day long. You then want to split the hair down the middle. I'll take the left section, twist to the left and then attach to the right ponytail. Repeat on the right. The right section will twist towards the right and cross over the left section to the left pigtail. We hope you enjoyed this easy toddler and little girl's hairstyle! These 3 fast and easy swim hairstyles are tried and tested. We've been doing all sorts of swim styles the past few weeks and these are 3 that have held up nicely in the pool! I find that I like elastic hairstyles the best when it comes to swimming. Style#1, Connected Criss Cross Pigtails 1. Part the hair down the middle from the forehead to the crown. 2. Create two sets of connected ponytails. You do this by putting the right and left side in a front ponytail and then connecting it to another ponytail behind it. 3. Part the remaining hair down the middle and put into pigtails. 4. Twist the hair from the front left pigtail and then cross and connect it to the back right pigtail. Repeat on the opposite side so that you have an x in the back. Swim Hairstyle #2, Crossed Braids Into Pigtails 1. Part the hair down the middle from forehead to crown again. 2. Create two front pigtails 3. Part the remaining hair down the middle and secure into pigtails. 4. Braid the two front pigtails and cross into opposite back pigtails. Style #3 Double Rope Twist Into a Low Ponytail 1. Part the hair down the middle from the forehead and two inches back. 2. Create two small front pigtails. 3. Part out another section of hair directly behind the two front ponytails. 4. Split the middle section behind the two front ponies in half. Using half of this hair, combine with the front right ponytail to make a rope twist. 5. Repeat step 4 and then secure all of hair into a low ponytail. We hope you enjoyed this swim hair tutorial! Ribbon Bubble Braid Tutorial

03:15
I'm excited to share this ribbon bubble braid tutorial! If you have a toddler or little girl, chances are you are familiar with the bubble braid. This style is a twist on a classic toddler hairstyle and is so fun. By just adding some ribbon as we go, it mixes it up. You will start by parting a deep right part in the hair, above the eyebrow. You'll then part back at the crown of the head and again on the left side, leaving a little bit of hair on the left. The hair that you aren't using in this style, you can simply clip back or put it into a loose ponytail until you are done. Next, I will part this front section into 4 ponytails. I always work on damp or wet hair, it's so much easier to get a clean ponytail and contain the flyaways. I also use herbal essences spray gel, which is great at taming flyaways as well. The next step is to take a piece of ribbon at least 12" or longer and thread it through the first ponytail. You'll add the first ponytail along with the ribbon to the second ponytail and then bubble out the ribbon and hair. You'll repeat this two more times and then use the extra ribbon to tie a bow on the last ponytail! This one is a great beginner style and can be done in under 10 minutes!! It's great on thin hair, thick hair, short and long. Please give us a thumbs up and subscribe!
