Tour Our Grand Design Imagine 2670MK Travel Trailer, Our Rig For Full Time RVing

23:52
Grand Design Imagine 2670 MK Travel Trailer Tour When we decided that we wanted to live full time in an RV, we spent months researching which make, model, size, amenities, etc before we pulled the trigger. So what makes the Grand Design 2670MK so great? Among other things, the opposing slides make this 26.5' bumper pull travel trailer feel massive. In the middle of the two slides is a kitchen island that we really liked. It provided us with more counter space for prepping food, cooking and washing dishes. Another feature that we saw in this model that we did not see in any other RV is the presence of a desk space. We now have a proper office desk to sit at while we work on the road, full time RVing. Take a tour with us in our new Grand Design Imagine 2670MK where we highlight all the best features and selling points, and even point out a few areas for improvement. Haloview MC7108 Wireless RV Backup Camera Install & Review For Our Grand Design Imagine

08:20
We took our Grand Design Imagine cross country over 5 months and 22,000 miles. The one thing we really wish we had was a backup camera for the RV. When Haloview reached out to see if we were interested in trying their backup camera, it was a resounding YES! We ordered it on Amazon Prime and received it at one of the RV parks we were staying in 2 days. We finally had a chance to install it when we were back home and it was painless and took about an hour overall. You can purchase this backup camera here: https://amzn.to/2FsLyyE **EXPENSE REPORTS** Curious how much this lifestyle is costing us?* Check out our latest expense report for month 5 on the blog: http://bit.ly/2EOvffj **STAY IN TOUCH** Travel Blog: http://thetradingtravelers.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tradingtrav... Epic Boondocking Campsite On a Cliff | Badlands National Park

06:26
We were eager to get west of the Mississippi River, so we drove for 14 hours straight from Milwaukee to the Badlands. We found an epic free camping spot overlooking a cliff right outside the Pinnacles entrance to Badlands National Park. We had bighorn sheep and coyotes roaming right outside our front door. The wind was intense there and kept us up both nights as it felt like the trailer was going to roll right over a cliff. so this is your warning! We moved on after two nights but it was definitely one of the coolest places we've camped on this trip. **GPS COORDINATES** 43.890031, -102.226789 Take 207 exit heading south from Wall, SD. There are a couple entrances - enter through one of the gates on the left just before Pinnacles entrance. Make sure to close gate behind you as there are cattle roaming. **EXPENSE REPORTS** Curious how much this lifestyle is costing us?* Check out our latest expense report on our blog: http://bit.ly/2NYRK0J **STAY IN TOUCH** Travel Blog: http://thetradingtravelers.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tradingtrav... Orlando Thousand Trails, Is The Membership Worth It? Our Opinion & Time In Orlando & Celebration FL

08:39
Is the Thousand Trails Membership Worth It? Fortunately for us, we were given a free one year camping pass with the purchase of our new Grand Design Imagine 2670MK Travel Trailer so we got to try it out. Our initial impression was WOW as we drove up into the Thousand Trails Orlando/Clermont. The entrance looks like you're driving into a resort. The check-in/staff were super friendly and the process was easy. However, once in the park, our outlook on this park declined slightly. Its just not our style of camping. We tried our best to show this in the video and explain our opinion of Thousand Trails. However, this is an excellent campground to base yourself at to see Disney, Universal Studios, Celebration, Disney Springs and the surrounding attractions. Stay in Touch! Day Trip to Cleveland | Camping Beaver Creek State Park

05:56
We left VA on Friday of Memorial Day Weekend and headed to Beaver Creek State Park campground in Ohio. We had no idea what was there, but it was the only place we could find a campsite within a 6 hour drive of DC. Turns out, it was a pretty cool place to stay. The campground was fairly small and we only had electric, but the river (or creek) was really nice. There was also an old Pioneer Village to explore as well. We also went to Cleveland one day to meet up with one of Brittany's friends she hadn't seen in years. We got a great tour of the city, checking out the breweries and the West Side Market. We also had some of the best food at the Greenhouse Tavern. Beaver Creek turned out to be a pretty great place to stay for the weekend! Stay in Touch! Replacement Parts Arrived 🙌 for the Grand Design | 🍂🍁 FALL COLORS in Colorado 🍂🍁

08:56
We were FINALLY able to book a spot for an entire week (which we then extended for second week) at the Snowy Peaks RV Park in Buena Vista, Colorado! It was so nice to wind down and not have to worry about our next move for a little bit. We love this part of Colorado so we were busy exploring the area. The RV park was the perfect location for checking out Leadville, Twin Lakes, Turquoise Lake, Independence Pass, Salida and more. Independence Pass is said to be one of the prettiest fall drives in Colorado and I think we timed it perfectly to see the golden Aspens at their peak! We received one package from Grand Design with our microwave replacement. We are still waiting on the propane regulator but at least we can use the microwave in the meantime! *Spoiler Alert* We sold the RV! River Rhine Boat Cruise, Cologne, Germany- Viewing Castles Lorelei Rock & Train to Koblenz

04:52
The River Rhine is one of the most beautiful and scenic areas of Germany. On a recommendation we took the KB River Boat cruise down the Rhine River and it paid off big time! Without taking this boat cruise, or the train up to Koblenz, its hard to see this area of Germany if you are on a time crunch traveling. Nonetheless, the River Rhine is lined with stunning wine vineyards, ancient Rhine River castles, and plenty of towns with oozing character. Although the trip with train tickets and the boat fare is a little on the expensive side, it is definitely worth it. Playing Catch Up In Sheridan, WY | Exploring Bighorn National Forest

04:23
The morning we left SD, we ran into some slide issues. We got Grand Design on the phone and thought we solved the problem, but more on that in later episodes. We needed a place with reliable internet so we could catch up on work and take care of some chores/errands so we headed to Sheridan, Wyoming. Peter D's RV Park was a great place to do just that before we headed to Yellowstone National Park. While there, we took a day to explore the Bighorn National Forest where we finally spotted a moose among lots of other wildlife. Ferry on Lake Como Italy between Bellagio, Varenna & Menaggio, via Fréjus Road Tunnel

02:15
We spent 2 nights in Lake Como Italy after our beautiful house sitting assignment in Conjux, France. It seems our European trip has been covering all the mountain lakes of Western Europe. Lake Annecy and Lake Bourget in France were hard to top, but Lake Como surely didn't disappoint. This is a much larger lake in comparison to Annecy or Bourget, with more towns accessible via Ferry. PRO TRAVEL TIP: If you plan to go to a town such as Mennagio, Bellagio, Varenna or any town via ferry for that matter BUY THE DAY PASS. It seems the ticket counter operators are notorious for selling you two "one-way tickets" at 9.80 euros each, however a daily pass is available for 15 euros. You do the math, the Daily Pass makes way more sense, but you might not be informed of its existence, especially in Menaggio, where most people are based. The ferry rides are usually crowded, but the views are spectacular. We covered all three towns in one day and lots of walking. Easily doable if you are on a time crunch. Honda Forza Review- Video Tour, Review, Price, & Overview

06:48
With over 5000 kilometers and two countries traveled, the 2013 Honda Forza 300CC has been put through its paces. Before purchasing this motorcycle in Thailand, I combed through the internet for reviews and information in an effort to dissuade myself from buying it. Before making any major purchase, I always look for a reason not to buy something. If my thorough search for negatives turns up few and far between, then I know the product is worthwhile, or too new for criticisms. This seems to be the case for the 2013 Honda Forza. Here is my comprehensive review of my experience with the Forza. Read the full review here: http://thetradingtravelers.com/honda-forza-review/

7 Things To Do In Slovenia, Including Slap Kozjak Waterfall, Soča River, Vintgar Gorge

05:02
We spent 5 nights in Lubljana, Slovenia, and so far its the most impressive and underrated country we have been to in all of Europe. Although we stayed in Lubljana, the capital of Slovenia, it is a rather quiet capital city and the perfect jumping off point. Every day we would drive about 1-2 hours to visit sights such as Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, Soča River, Vintgar Gorge and the beautiful Slap Kozjak Waterfall. Indiana Dunes State Park Camping | South Shore Line Train to Chicago

08:17
We wanted to spend a day in Chicago, but we didn't want to take the RV IN to Chicago. We decided to stay at the Indiana Dunes State Park campground which really surprised us. The beach was beautiful and it was fun exploring the sand dunes. We were able to take the South Shore Line train an hour into the city, so we didn't have to deal with traffic or parking. We had a great day exploring downtown Chicago, the riverside, Navy Pier, eating hotdogs at Portillos, and more! The icing on the cake was watching the sunset over the Chicago skyline from the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Stay in Touch! Langkawi Gliders, Paramotor/Paraglider Flying over Langkawi Island

03:09
While driving around the island of Langkawi, Malaysia, we drove past a few paramotors or what I like to call paragliders (powered parachutes) setting up on a small strip of land set in between two rice paddies. I jammed on the motorbike brakes and pulled over to take a second look. Sure enough it was Paramotor tours being operated by Langkawi Gliders. We sat at watched two separate brave souls take to the air, but I wasn't quite convinced yet. I was a little fearful of taking off on a 15 meter wide strip of land with water on both sides; and then proceeding to fly over the ocean..... We decided to head back to the hotel and I couldn't stop thinking about that paramotor all night and thought to myself when the hell am I ever going to have to chance to fly over a beautiful white sandy beach in a paramotor. Probably few and far between..... The next day was our "beach day" in Langkawai just lounging on a beautiful white sand beach with small islands off in the distance. At about 3 p.m. I couldn't take it any longer and I decided we had to try the Paramotor. Much to my surprise, Brittany was all for it. She's usually a littler hesitant when is comes to "extreme events" especially something like this that didn't quite look risk free... Long story short we hired a taxi to take us out to the same strip in the middle of the rice paddy, signed our release form paid up (about $50 per person for a short 8 minute route) The incredibly friendly staff at Langkawi Gliders saw how pumped I was about this, and since we were both paying for the tour they decided to give us the longer 15 minute tour which went out over the ocean and then down the beach. The ride was stunning. We had beautiful views of the entire island and got some great video. Thanks again to Langkawi Gliders, everyone form the Pilot, paperwork attendant and several helpers were all super people and we highly recommend checking them out if you are into this type of thing. We then proceeded to hitchhike back to our hotel. Funny thing is, in all my excitement from the ride I waved a car down and asked a women for a ride back into town and we told her we would pay. Come to find out, she had no idea where she was going because she just picked up the rental car from the airport which she landed at just a few minutes prior. It was a crazy adventurous day to say the least. The kind woman let us out right in the middle of town and wouldn't accept our money. Another reason Malaysia has been our most underestimated city we've visited in South East Asia. Read more about that here: http://thetradingtravelers.com/and-the-award-for-most-surprising-city-goes-to-kuala-lumpur/ You can watch out video of how we found this while motorbiking the island of Langkawi here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqjZrlsQzBQ Video brought to you by: http://thetradingtravelers.com Music By: Blazing Day by Cullah is licensed under a Attribution-ShareAlike License.

Third Class Train to Kanchanburi, Thailand, Erawan Falls National Park, & River Kwai

06:20
This was our first trip on train during our time in Thailand. What better way to do it than on a Third Class Train from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, Thailand? For those that don't know, third class trains are the cheapest, thus no frills about this train. This is about a three-four hour train ride with hard wooden benches, no air condition, and a very scary looking squat-toliet. The Nam Tok train station to get from BKK to Kanchanburi is a little ways outside of the city. We were told it should be a 20-30 minute taxi ride from the Sukhumvit area where we were staying. With traffic and a lost taxi cab driver, this turned into an hour and 45 minute taxi ride. We had thought we missed the train because we showed up 10 minutes late. Luckily, in Thailand scheduled transportation is rarely on time, and the train was delayed by 10 minutes. The ride was awesome. I recommend it as an "experience," but definitely only during the winter months or very early in the morning. I couldn't imagine being on that train in the summer time or if it was raining. Kanchanburi is a charming little town with a lot to offer. It is definitely still "Old Thailand" and the river flowing through with mountains on either side make for gorgeous scenery. The most popular reason to visit Kanchanburi is as a starting point to go visit Erawan Falls National Park. Erawan Falls, as the name implies, is a series of water falls which are a beautiful turquoise blue. Getting around the park is not for the anti-adventurous. It takes a little skill to transverse the park's rugged trails. We even came across a Thai woman who fell off the path, about 3 meter fall onto rocks. Brittany's brother did the best to stabilize her until "park rangers" showed up and threw her on their back and voyaged back to the parking lot. The drive from the town of Kanchanburi to Erawan falls is about an hour and a half (by motorbike) and roughly 67 Kilometers. We highly, highly recommend seeing this place. It was an amazing experience which Brittany's brother called his highlight of his visit to Thailand. Xtreme 4X4 Polaris RZR on Poughkeepsie Gulch Trail & Camping at South Mineral Silverton, CO

04:36
We rented a Polaris RZR for a day while we were camping in Silverton, CO. Although not cheap to rent, we definitely got our money's worth. We explored some crazy trails through all the surrounding passes of Silverton Colorado. If you've never ridden in a side by side before, they are epic! The polaris RZR handled the trails a heck of a lot better than the jeep we had rented in Salida. Check that video out here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ21TyQYGIU&list=UUMzHm2lx5vuRj6DmPsIBBmA The Poughkeepsie Trail is the hardest route we ended up on and we definitely didn't belong there. This is for experts only, and there are even several winch points to pull yourself up should you feel you're going to tip. We talked to several people AFTER poughkeepsie trail who told us we'd never make it down the trail, but somehow we did. Needless to say the Polariz RZR was a beast! The trails and scenery around Silverton CO is incredible with awesome camping. We camped at the South Mineral Campground and highly recommend it. If you're into the outdoors, check out Silverton CO. Exploring the Black Hills & Custer State Park | Needles HWY | Deadwood

05:48
After we left our cliff-side campsite in Badlands, we headed to the Black Hills to explore Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and Deadwood. We managed to snag the last campsite at Oreville Campground, but only for 2 nights so we had to squeeze as much in as we could. The first day we drove the scenic Needles Highway and explored Custer State Park, including the Wildlife Loop and Sylvan Lake. The next day we visited Mount Rushmore in the morning, got our photos and then headed to Deadwood. The Black Hills were incredible and we would definitely go back to explore more of it! Camping At Vogel State Park, Blairsville, GA & Visiting Winston-Salem, NC Foothills Brewery

06:03
Vogel State Park located in Blairsville, Georgia was high on our list of places to visit. Brittany visited the park as a kid and had fond memories of it, but never stayed at the campground. The campground definitely did not disappoint. The campsites were spread out nicely and we backed up to a creek that led into a lake, all accessible via Vogel State Park. The only downfall of this campground was the lack of sewer hookups and the cell reception was pretty weak. We had to make trips down to the lake/visitor center in order to tap into wifi. For many, this won't be a big concern, however, for us that work online, we like to put that information out there. We tested both T-Mobile & Verizon, with a booster, and they were weak at best. We visited De Soto Falls and drove into Dahlonega for lunch, a stroll around the square and got some work done at a coffee shop. From Blairsville, GA, we were supposed to head to Ashville, NC, but the weather was not cooperating, so we altered our plans. We decided to head to Winston-Salem, NC, to meet up with Brittany's brother, girlfriend and furbaby. There was a Thousand Trails campground close by and we have a free pass that came with our GD purchase. We checked out the Twin Cities Hive, which was an awesome coffee shop to work from for digital nomads or anyone trying to crank out some work. The coffee was pretty great as well! We also checked out Foothills Brewery & Wise Man Brewery, both of which were dog-friendly and had an awesome selections of beers. Stay in Touch! Grand Design Imagine RV Issues 😭👎 | Steamboat Lake State Park, CO

12:16
As we were packing up in Frisco, CO and taking my parents to the airport, everything seemed to break at once! We couldn't use our stove, oven or microwave so we could only cook on the grill. And we also couldn't use our furnace or electric fireplace and we were waking up to temps of 45 inside the trailer! You can probably tell how frustrated we (Charlie) are with the RV at this point. All that aside, we stayed in Steamboat Lake State Park where we were practically the only ones there and it was a beautiful campground, just a little far from town. We visited the farmers market in town, as well as the Chili Fest where we sampled tons of good chili. It was definitely feeling like fall in Colorado and we were loving it. *Spoiler Alert* We sold the RV! AMAZING Day at Grand Teton National Park | Receiving Mail on the Road

05:32
We decided to do a one day trip to visit Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole, Wyoming while we were staying at Henry's Lake State Park. We were going to camp near the Tetons for a few days, but since we would be heading to Glacier National Park next, it didn't make sense to tow the trailer south and then backtrack north again. While we had incredible weather and a perfect day exploring, we definitely could have spent a lot longer there. This is one of our favorite National Parks that we've seen yet. It's absolutely stunning! We also had to pick up some mail from the UPS store which we had our parents ship to us. We have found that all UPS stores charge different prices to hold your packages - anywhere from $5-$10 per package. This time it cost us $25 which was a little tough to swallow! We haven't found a better solution yet, though, since we are always on the move. **EXPENSE REPORTS** Curious how much this lifestyle is costing us?* Check out our latest expense report on the blog: http://bit.ly/2NhQzJB **STAY IN TOUCH** Travel Blog: http://thetradingtravelers.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tradingtrav... Staying At Jonathan Dickinson State Park Campground & Long Pine Key Campground, Exploring Jupiter

08:18
http://thetradingtravelers.com first long trip in our new Grand Design Imagine 2670 MK Travel Trailer. We headed 4 hours south to Jupiter FL where we stayed at Jonatan Dickinson State Park Campground. Although we haven't been to a ton of campgrounds up to this point, this place really impressed us. We stayed in the Pine Grove Campground (there are several in the park) Dickinson State Park is massive with plenty to do, and the campground is spread out enough to provide each camper with privacy. The beaches around Jupiter FL blew us away. Some of our friends even thought we were in the Caribbean because the water was so blue. From Jupiter we headed south to the Everglades National Park. We camped at Long Pine Key Campground which is about 5 miles into the National Park. The campground itself is really nice and spread out. However, no cell service is available out here and this is dry camping (no power, water or electric) Luckily, we had our generator and cell booster with us which kept us cool and the cell booster provided us with at least one bar of cell service. We were able to check emails and get messages out. Long Pine Key is a great place to base yourself to explore the Everglades and close enough to take a day trip down to the Florida Keys. We drove down to Islamorada, which took about an hour and fifteen minutes from the campground. Alexander Springs- Ocala National Forest & Camping At Lake Rousseau RV Park

We spent two nights camping at Alexander Springs in the Ocala National Forest. Alexander Springs is a "recreational area" that was similar to a state park. When camping, entrance to the park (normally $5.50 a person) is included with camping. This campground was dry camping but allowed generators. The spring really is as blue as the video shows. The river is also loaded with bass for those that want to canoe down river. From the Ocala National Forest we headed to Lake Rousseau RV Park. This campground sat right on Lake Rousseau and had its own boat ramp. We took advantage of this and headed out on the lake for cruising, fishing, and exploring. Stay in Touch! Kuang Si Waterfalls Luang Prabang, Laos

01:38
Day trip to Kuang Si Waterfalls in Luang Prabang, Laos. The falls and water are pristine. Park entrance fees are 20,000 kip per person or roughly $3USD, and well worth every penny. Included in the entrance fee is a bear sanctuary which was really neat to see as well. Kuang Si is about 35 kilos outside of downtown Luang Prabang. Taxis are easily accessible to falls, or for the more adventurous like ourselves, we drove our motorbike out to the falls.Read more about the waterfall and how to get there here: http://thetradingtravelers.com/luang-prabang-laos/

GOING-TO-THE-SUN ROAD in Glacier National Park | Apgar Campground

12:14
We timed getting to Glacier National Park just perfectly as the Going-to-the-sun Road was just opening the day we arrived. We managed to snag a campsite at Apgar Campground on a Saturday at 5pm as they are walk-ups only. We spent 4 nights dry camping in Glacier National Park, but definitely could have spent longer. We loved kayaking on Lake McDonald, hiking to Virginia/St Mary Falls, and driving the Going-to-the-Sun Road. **EXPENSE REPORTS** Curious how much this lifestyle is costing us?* Check out our latest expense report for month 3 on the blog: http://bit.ly/2NhQzJB **STAY IN TOUCH** Travel Blog: http://thetradingtravelers.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tradingtrav... Roadtrip Highlights of Georgia, Tennessee, & North Carolina: Including Nashville & Gatlinburg

04:33
We spent two weeks road tripping the South of USA with Charlie's parents focusing on Georgia, Tennessee, & North Carolina. We stayed in Blairsville, GA for 3 nights and explored the mountain towns of Helen, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega& Ellijay. Next we moved on to Nashville, TN the home of country music. We met up with Brittany's parents and explored the Grand Ole Opry, The Honky Tonks of Nashville (our favorite being the Swingin Doors Saloon) and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Our next stop was Gatlinburg, TN. This is the home of the Great Smoky Mountains. We explored Cades Cove (a driving pass through the mountains) and hiked several trails and viewed countless beautiful waterfalls. Although Gatlinburg is becoming touristy, the likes of the Eight Gables Inn (where we stayed) and the Smoky Mountains bring back that mountain feel that everyone goes for. After three nights in Gatlinburg., we moved on to Maggie Valley, NC. This is where we explored the Wheels Through Time Museum. Anyone in the surrounding areas MUST stop in this living museum. Charlie's dad spent 3 1/2 hours in the Wheels Through Time checking out the fascinating collection (all of which runs!) Video By: http://thetradingtravelers.com

OFF-ROADING WINDROCK PARK IN TENNESSEE | RV CAMPGROUND

07:33
After being home in Florida for 3 weeks, we loaded up the Imagine again for one last trip! We drove all of the way back to Tennessee to Windrock Park, an off-roading park near Oliver Springs. If you're into ATVs, UTVS, dirt bikes or jeeps then this is the place for you! We visited the park back in 2016 in the summer and had a blast, so we were excited to visit again and stay at the RV campground in the park. Our site was massive and we were pretty impressed with the campground itself. We rented a side by side and spent the day (Our anniversary!) riding the trails. *Spoiler Alert* We sold the RV! Celebrating 4th OF JULY in Leavenworth | Hiking Icicle Gorge | Thousand Trails Campground

09:13
We decided to purchase an additional zone on our Thousand Trails Camping Pass. It was an additional $50 to add the Pacific Northwest, and since we knew we would be spending a lot of time in Washington and Oregon, it would pay for itself after just 2 nights. We first tried the Thousand Trails in Newport, WA but the campground was not very nice and there was no cell reception which made it difficult for us to get any work done. So we left and headed towards Leavenworth, WA. This is definitely the nicest Thousand Trails campground we've stayed at. Although not all sites are full hook-up, we were happy with our campsite as it felt more like camping than just your typical RV resort. There was no cell reception here either, but we hung out in the lodge to get work done. We happened to be here over 4th of July, and there were plenty of festivities going on for the holiday. We hiked the Icicle Gorge Trail, which was gorgeous. Unfortunately, the campground was booked up for the holiday weekend so we had to leave. We found a great boondocking spot right down the road, but something creeping around outside in the middle of the night kept us up all night! #Leavenworth #LeavenworthWA **See Our Top Things To Do In Leavenworth: http://bit.ly/2TZjtlp **EXPENSE REPORTS** Curious how much this lifestyle is costing us?* Check out our latest expense report for month 3 on the blog: http://bit.ly/2NhQzJB **STAY IN TOUCH** Travel Blog: http://thetradingtravelers.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tradingtrav... Camping Oscar Scherer State Campground Close To Siesta Key Beach, & St Armands Circle For Cheap!

05:21
Travel Blog: http://thetradingtravelers.com After the Keys we headed north to Siesta Key/Sarasota Area. Siesta Key Beach regularly wins the award for the best beach in the USA. Yet, we had never visited this area even though "home" was only 2.5 hours away. After seeing the beach and Siesta Key it is easy to see why this beach regularly wins awards and recently placed fifth in the world. With such praise comes expensive prices. Everyone wants to see the white sugar sand that Siesta Key offers. However, we were able to camp just 10 minutes away at Oscar Scherer State Campground for only $26 a night. All sites offered water & Electric and there was a dump station on site. Oscar Scherer Campground offered plenty of hiking/trails to explore, a lake, and even a little creek which could be paddled in a kayak. However, we opted to take our new Advanced Elements Inflatable Kayak out to Siesta Key Beach for a little paddling. Turtle Beach Park, just a few miles down from the public beach on Siesta Key offers Boat & Kayak Launch. The sandy launch area made for the perfect spot to test out our blow up kayak for the first time. The Advanced Elements held up perfectly as we paddled about 30-45 minutes south towards Kayak Beach. This is a little beach area where you can park your kayak and cross over a small sand dune to a virtually private beach. This is only accessible via kayak or boat, so you're likely to have the whole plaice to yourself. **Mentioned In Episode:** Oscar Scherer State Park: https://www.floridastateparks.org/park/Oscar-Scherer Turtle Beach Park: https://www.scgov.net/Home/Components/FacilityDirectory/FacilityDirectory/495/553?npage=2 Siesta Key Public Beach: http://www.siestakeychamber.com/beaches Advanced Elements Kayak We Have: https://amzn.to/2qPPtuQ Stay in Touch! Thailand Honda Forza Buying Process

03:44
The buying process of a motorcycle in Thailand is quite a bit different than that of a Westernized country. By that I mean, processing paperwork in the Honda dealership, but then having to get into an employees car and drive to the managers condo to finalize the paperwork. Strange, I know, but in Thailand this is just more convenient for the manager, so of course it makes sense. You can read more about the documentation requirements here: http://thetradingtravelers.com/buying-a-new-motorcycle-in-thailand/

WE NEED MORE TIME IN IDAHO!! | Exploring Downtown Boise and Twin Falls

08:24
Charlie's parents came to hang out with us for a few days in Oregon, where we explored Hood River, Bend and Crater Lake. Unfortunately it was super smokey from the wildfires so the visibility at Crater Lake was really bad. After they left, we had less than two weeks to book it back to Colorado where my parents were flying in to hang out with us. This only left us a few days to explore Idaho, which we quickly found wasn't nearly enough time. We only had one full day in Boise and a couple of days in Twin Falls. Both cities really blew us away. They were really beautiful, clean cities with a laid back vibe. We could definitely see ourselves going back to either city for a longer period of time. **Check Out Our Blog On Our Top Things To Do In Boise: http://bit.ly/2BJCFwn **EXPENSE REPORTS** Curious how much this lifestyle is costing us?* Check out our latest expense report for month 5 on the blog: http://bit.ly/2EOvffj **STAY IN TOUCH** Travel Blog: http://thetradingtravelers.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tradingtrav... Findley State Park | Visiting the Shawshank Prison in Mansfield, OH

05:22
When we saw our friends had recently visited the Ohio State Reformatory where The Shawshank Redemption was filmed, we added the stop to our USA road trip itinerary. We headed to Findley State Park, where we had full hookups and were only a 40 minute drive to Mansfield. The Shawshank Redemption is Charlie's favorite movie, so he completely geeked out over seeing all of the filming locations and movie memorabilia. Turns out, the Mansfield prison is also known for its ghost activity and being one of the most haunted places in Ohio. Brittany was far more interested in this aspect of visiting the prison and hearing the stories of ghosts that have been seen and heard throughout the prison. Its appeared on many ghost hunting shows and you can do your own ghost hunts there. We purchased our tickets on Groupon - 2 for $16 and added the audio tour for an extra $5/person. Motorcycle riding through Northern Laos

05:02
Here is a view of riding through Northern Laos on a motorcycle. The countryside of Laos is far more beautiful than Thailand, but also far more desolate. This is a good thing assuming all is going well with the roads and your bike, or a bad thing if you break down in the middle of nowhere. Luckily, we met up with a group of great riders from Chiang Mai that warned us of the terrible roads we would encounter in Laos. We took their advice and traveled slow, and even found a town on their recommendation that we would otherwise not have stopped at, Nong Khiaw. Exploring Yellowstone National Park | Camping at Henry's Lake State Park

10:08
We decided to camp at Henry's Lake State Park campground instead of fighting the crowds at Yellowstone National Park. It was 17 miles from West Yellowstone with electric and water hookups (some sites had full hookups). The best part was the stellar cell phone reception so we were happy campers. It was a great base to explore both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. While there, we had a ton of rain and our first flat tire of the trip, so things didn't go exactly as planned but that's just how it goes. We still had an incredible time in the area and definitely want to go back! LAST TRIP IN THE IMAGINE! WE SOLD OUR RV | Vogel State Park in the Fall

10:09
We left Windrock Park in TN and headed towards north Georgia for our last trip in the RV. We started our cross country trip at Vogel State Park, so it was only natural that we ended there as well! This time we had both of our parents on the trip with us and we timed it perfectly for the fall leaves changing colors. Of course it wouldn't go smoothly! The trip started with a "nightmare campsite". We then had a situation where we had to call the police. And of course the trip ended the same way it always does... We returned to Florida and said goodbye to our Grand Design Imagine. It definitely left us with mixed emotions. Don't worry - this isn't the last of our videos! The next chapter begins... ***Curious Why We Sold the RV? Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Travel Guide including Heli Lounge Sky Bar, South Indian Food

Kuala Lumpur has been the most underrated city in South East Asia. This place blew us away. KL is lightyears ahead of the likes of Bangkok, Thailand and Vientiane, Laos. This is definitely the most livable city in South East Asia, but also happens to be a little bit more expensive. However, if you follow a few of these tips in this video regarding eating local food such as South Indian Food, Street food etc. you can save where it counts. Also, the public transportation in KL is as efficient as it gets in SE Asia, and shockingly was cheaper than that of the MRT in Bangkok. Salzburg is a beautiful city, but it was pretty crowded when we visited There were far more tourist than we were expecting. I guess the Sound of Music has really pulled in the tourist. Exploring Olympic Peninsula in Two Days! RV LIFE Washington

The temperature dropped about 30 degrees from Mt Rainier to the Olympic Peninsula. Actually, the climate in the OP is exactly what you would expect of Washington. Not going to lie - I was kind of loving it. Charlie says I'm a dark person...lol We spent two days exploring the Hoh Rainforest, Rialto Beach, Hurricane Ridge and Port Angeles. Oh, and Forks of course! I was having fun with all of the quirky Twilights sights and signage. We camped at the Minnie Peterson campground which is free with a Washington discover pass. Exploring Rhone French Alps, Lake Annecy & Lake Du Bourget, Including Conjux, & Aix Les Baines

02:58
As we prepared for leaving the US after a short visit home, we had no clue where we were heading in Europe. That was until 3 days before our departure we landed a house sitting assignment in Conjux, France. We landed in Frankfurt, rented a car and floored it 7 hours towards France. This was my first time driving 5 speed in a long time, and the first road we had to tackle was the Autobahn. We pushed through the anxiety, and made it to beautiful Conjux about $100 poorer due to tolls and about an hour later than scheduled due to..... poor driving..... Conjux and Aix Les Bains were places we had never heard of, but a quick Google search turned up some amazing pictures, so we jumped all over the chance to house sit for three Springer Spaniels in a house overlooking Lac Du Bourget. Lake Du Bourget is about 21 Kilometers in length and is situated in the Rhone Alps. As you'll see the water was a turquoise blue and some of the cleanest water Ive ever seen. During our house sit we had a 5 day break, as the homeowners transitioned between trips, in which we headed to Lake Annecy. This is a much more popular tourist lake, with just as beautiful views. The towns of Annecy and Talloires were full of charm and a blast to stroll through. Come take the virtual tour through two lesser known French Alp towns that you might want to consider as an alternative to some of the more common tourist traps such as Paris. PICKING UP MY PARENTS IN DENVER!! ✈️ | Camping at Cherry Creek State Park

07:15
We left Utah and made the looooong drive to Lyons, Colorado where we stayed at the LaVern M. Johnson Park for 2 nights. It turned into a day from hell, starting with nearly ALL of the rest stops being closed and nowhere to stop and rest. We then ended up on a mud road (a CO SR) and couldn't get turned around. It started pouring and we ended up in a traffic a jam trying to get OFF the road. The truck and RV were completely COVERED in mud. Then we finally got to the park, unhitched and tried to hook up when we discovered the power wouldn't reach - what we found to be a common problem at the park. So we had to hitch up again 😩 It all worked out in the end, and other than the awkward hookups, the park itself was nice and convenient for walking around Lyons and visiting Boulder. We then headed to Cherry Creek State Park in Denver so we would be close to the airport to pick my parents up. This ended up being one of our favorite State Parks! It was beautiful. They also allowed us to leave our trailer in the parking lot since we had to check out and didn't want to tow to the airport (is that even possible?). We were so excited to see my parents and start our week of adventures with them. **EXPENSE REPORTS** Curious how much this lifestyle is costing us?* Check out our latest expense report for month 5 on the blog: http://bit.ly/2EOvffj **STAY IN TOUCH** Travel Blog: http://thetradingtravelers.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tradingtrav...
