How to Make Marbled Paper w/ Shaving Cream ❤ Make Your Own Holiday Wrapping Paper Kid Craft Idea!

02:59
DIY marbleized paper that is fun and easy! You have to try this awesome technique. We will be making homemade holiday cards and birthday cards using this really simple shaving cream and food coloring marble paper technique. Friends, Grandpas and Grandmas are going to love getting them in the mail! ❤ -- ❤ --- Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! If you like my videos, please thumbs up and share them :) Please subscribe to my channel: http://www.youtube.com/SillyAvacadoTime?sub_confirmation=1 -- ❤ --- You only need a few items that you most likely have around the house. You can use or make a stencil if you want. ❤ What you Need: - Shaving Cream (white foam; not the gel kind) - Food Coloring - Platter or Tray - Chopstick or Toothpick - Ruler or Extra Piece of Paper - Paper (we just used the white paper we had in the house) - Squeegee ❤ How to Make the Shaving Cream Marble Paper: 1. Make a layer of shaving cream in the tray or platter 2. Use a ruler or piece of paper to smooth out the top layer to be flat 3. Add drops of food coloring 4. Use the chopstick or toothpick to swirl the food coloring around and make whatever fun designs you want 5. WAIT 3 MINUTES BEFORE USING THE SQUEEGEE to take off the remaining shaving cream - this is important so you have less smearing of the design 6. Wipe of the extra shaving cream from the paper with the squeegee 7. Let the paper completely dry on a flat surface - if it starts to curl, put clean paper on top and then add a heavy book or something on top to flatten it out 8. Enjoy your masterpiece! You don't have to be an artist to make beautiful paper. Get creative! Cut the paper into strips and make custom bookmarks. Fold the paper in half and you have an amazing personalized card. Use it to cover a book or journal. Great craft idea for a group of art loving kids. ❤❤ Can't wait to hear what you made! Music: http://www.bensound.com

Hair Bow Hairstyle Tutorial ❤ Easy & Cute ❤ How to do a Hair Bow for Toddler Girls

02:15
This is a super easy and really cute hairstyle for girls. ❤ This hair bow hairstyle tutorial will show you how to create a half-up half-down hair bow with your hair. You would follow the same steps but use all the hair if you wanted to do a complete up do. Adorable back-to-school hair style or for a school dance! ❤ It is so easy and super cute! ❤ All you need are rubber bands, bobby pins and medium to long length hair. We recommend using bobby pins and rubber bands that match the hair color so it blends in more but even if the bobby pins are a different color (like ours are) it still looks great. You don't have to pin the sides of the bow down but Silly AVAcado is active on the playground at school so this keeps it in place all day. If you are worried about the hair bow coming out if you or your child is at school or a party, you can add extra bobby pins :) Cute for toddler girls with medium hair to long hair but also a hairstyle that older girls can wear to a school dance or party. You can use our tutorial as a starting point and adjust it to what works best for you. ❤ I love this easy and free DIY hair bow hairstyle idea and hope you do too! ❤ Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! Ponytails - 6 Easy Back-to-School Ponytail Hairstyles for Toddler Girls! How to do Ponytail/pigtails

02:58
Silly AVAcado gets her hair styled! Ponytails! Pigtails! Nubs! Mornings can be rushed so here are six (6) quick and easy versions of ponytail hairstyle ideas for toddlers, two (2) year olds and girls of all ages and all lengths of hair! Silly AVAcado has her hair styled as a simple and easy nub and ponytail, bun, half-up half-down, two (2) nubs and pigtails. So cute and easy! Watch Silly AVAcado's 5 Quick and Easy Braid Hairstyles video too! https://youtu.be/MhLmLsroo0Q The twisty braid in the braid hairstyles video reminds Silly AVAcado of a princess' headband. It also works like a headband to keep hair out of Silly AVAcado’s face. We have tried a lot of rubber bands for little girls’ hair and our favorite by far are the small rubbery rubber bands that we found at the grocery store. They don’t break or stretch out quickly. They also grip little girls' hair well to stay put but don’t rip out Silly AVAcado’s hair like other rubberbands. The sets we buy come with bright colors to match any outfit: light pink, hot pink, purple, teal blue and black. Silly AVAcado has a LOT of hair bows and hair clips. The most amazing storage idea we have come up for them is to use a plastic fishing tackle box as it has individual storage compartments. You can organize by color or by type if you want! Ours is made by Plano but there are probably others that will work. Leave a comment and tell me what your favorite ponytail is! We have more ponytail ideas to share! Subscribe and like my video! Let me know you want to see more! Can't wait to read about it! Did you try Silly AVAcado’s hair supply storage idea and LOVE it too?! How to Make Tulle Pom Poms! Last Longer Than Tissue Paper Pom Poms! Easy & Fast DIY Puff Balls!

03:57
❤ Let’s make our own tulle pom poms for a birthday party or room decoration!! Reusable! Perfect for indoor and outdoor decor! Don't get ruined in the rain like tissue paper pom poms! Easy to store! So pretty! ❤ Make these pretty puffy tulle balls in any color you like with Silly AVAcado for a fun and easy DIY craft idea! ❤ We use them as birthday party decorations every year! Make the template once and then you can reuse the tulle pom poms and make more really quickly and easily. For Silly AVAcado's first birthday party, we almost bought the paper pom pom balls but you can only use them once and they are ruined if they get wet. Tulle pom poms can withstand rain and still look awesome once they dry plus it is really great that you can reuse them indefinitely! Hope you have lots of fun making these! :) ❤❤ Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! If you like my videos, please thumbs up and share them :) ❤❤ Please subscribe to my channel: http://www.youtube.com/SillyAvacadoTime?sub_confirmation=1 Music: http://www.bensound.com ❤❤❤ TULLE POM POM INSTRUCTIONS: ❤ Step one is to make your tulle pom pom template. Our templates are 22" in diameter for the larger size and 10" in diameter for the smaller poofy ball pom pom but you can make them whatever size you want. Using an old cardboard box is the cheapest and easiest or in this video we used a table top display board from Michael's Arts and Crafts store. - Fold the cardboard in half with the fold at the bottom by you - Along the bottom folded edge, measure the diameter you want and then put another measurement mark right in the middle - Draw a semicircle based on your diameter and cut it out - Measure equal distances from the center mark on the bottom folded edge. For the larger size tulle pom pom we measured 2" on either side - Draw a semicircle to connect the new measurements and cut it out - Open your template so it looks like a large circle with a hole in the middle - along the fold in the middle, cut two small slits ❤ Step two is to wrap the tulle netting around the pom pom template. - Use any color you like - Silly AVAcado's first birthday party had a pink theme so the tulle pom poms we have in a variety of sizes are different shades of pink. Some tulle is matte and some is sparkly so have fun mixing them. Also, some tulle puffy balls we did with hot pink and light pink for fun! - We use four spools of tulle for a large tulle poofy ball which is approximately 70 yards of tulle netting - we have made extra large tulle pom poms so we used a few more spools of tulle to make it extra full - Cut a length of tulle about 3x the diameter of the circle - you will use this to hang up the pom poms - Tuck the tails into the folded template - Put the ends of the tulle together and line it up to the edge of the pom pom template - Wrap the tulle around the template until you get to the end - Wrap back to where you started and continue until you run out of tulle - Pull out the tulle tails and tie a 1/2 knot - Cut around the open end of the template - Use the tulle tails to finish tying the knot - You're done! ❤❤ Just fluff and decorate!! We store our fluffy tulle pom poms by smushing them into a tupperware or large bag. We take them out every time we need them and after a little fluffing they look brand new. FYI: If you use the glitter tulle, some of the glitter comes off easier than others so you will find it on your floor. Suggest working with the really glittery tulle outside :)

How to Make a Crystal Snowflake Ornament w/ Borax - Kid Friendly DIY Christmas Craft & Holidays!

02:47
Decorate your Christmas tree or your house for the holidays with a crystal snowflake ornament! Really easy and fun for kids to do. Sorry in advance if your area doesn't sell Borax! These are more beautiful than we thought they would be and even easier to make. With only a few household ingredients needed they make a fun holiday tradition that you can start :) Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! If you like my videos, please thumbs up and share them :) Please subscribe to my channel: http://www.youtube.com/SillyAvacadoTime?sub_confirmation=1 ---- ❤ ---- ❤ What you need ❤ - Pipe Cleaners (we used white but blue pipe cleaners might have made the crystal snowflake ornament appear more blue which would have been pretty) - Borax (again, sorry if you can't buy this by you) - Thread or string (we used white thread) - Scissors (to cut the pipe cleaners) - Pencil (or something long to hold the snowflake in the water) - Measuring cup - Tablespoon - Glass jar (must be taller and wider than the crystal snowflake ornament you want to make) - Boiling water (we microwaved it until really hot) ❤ How to make Borax crystal snowflakes ❤ - Cut your pipe cleaners into 3 even pieces - Bend them around each other to make a snowflake shape (or whatever shape you want!) - Tie the snowflake to the pencil with thread or string - In the glass jar mix 3 tablespoons of Borax to 1 cup boiling water - Repeat as needed so that the water and Borax mixture is higher than the height of the pipe cleaner snowflake - Add food coloring (whatever color you want the pipe cleaner crystal snowflake to be) - We used blue but could have added quite a few more drops. We wanted to be able to see it through the glass for a time lapse of the crystallization but the snowflakes came out almost white even though we had 2 big drops of food coloring. - Put the pipe cleaner snowflake into the glass jar with the pencil resting on the top (make sure the entire snowflake is under the water and Borax mixture) - Don't touch it and let it sit overnight to grow - That's it! Enjoy decorating your house for the holidays or put them on your Christmas tree as ornaments! They look amazing sparkling in the lights on the Christmas tree as a gorgeous homemade ornament. Love easy DIY kid craft ideas like this one :) ---- ❤ ---- Music: http://www.bensound.com

Learn how to tie an easy bow with Silly AVAcado! 💜 Follow these easy tutorial steps! Perfect for a ponty tail, as a ribbon bow on top of a birthday present or Christmas present, around the waist for a belt and we tie ribbon bows around hair buns too. Follow the same easy steps to tie your shoelace. Is quick and easy to add a ribbon bow to a hairstyle for toddlers girls and girls of all ages and all lengths of hair! How to Make a Curly Ribbon Hair Bow! Easy DIY Girl Hair Bow Craft Tutorial! Add Hello Kitty ribbon!

06:16
Watch Silly AVAcado help her mommy make this simple DIY craft tutorial showing how to make curly hair bows! Curly hair bows (also called korker hair bows) are so simple and cheap to make. You can use any color ribbon you like or match your favorite outfits! Fun idea for a girl's birthday party! Match your school's colors for team spirit! Cute for friends, cheerleaders, gymnasts, young dancers or sports teams to have matching hair bows! A parent will need to assist younger children with the making of the bow. We like to make curly bows and put on the top of presents for birthday parties! You can even do color schemes for holidays! For bigger boxes, don't cut the lengths as short as you would for a hair bow. Leave a comment if you want me to do a video to show how to make a curly bow for a present and our DIY personalized wrapping paper! We bought all of our supplies at Michael's arts and crafts store. We used to use glue to hold the ribbon to the hair clip but find that wire is more durable and easier to work with. Plus we don't have to worry about the messy glue. Here are the quick and easy steps to making your own curly bow: 1. Buy your supplies 2. Wrap the ribbon around the wood dowels and secure the ends with wood clothes pins 3. Put the wrapped dowels on a baking sheet and bake them at 250° for 20 minutes 4. Be sure to let them cool once you take them out of the oven 5. Take the ribbon off the dowels - if they happen to twist in different directions, just wrap them around your finger to re-twist the correct way 6. Cut a piece of wire 7. Secure the wire on one end of the clip 8. Remove the clip's insert as it will be added back later 9. While the clip is open, wrap the wire around to secure the ribbon until you get to the other end of the clip 10. Secure the wire at the other end of the clip 11. Add the clip's insert back in 12. Clip it on top of you ponytail or to keep your hair up 13. Have fun and make as many curly hairbows as you want! Leave a comment and tell me if you want me to make a special custom one! Frozen Inspired Anna's Coronation Hair Tutorial ❤ No headband needed ❤ Disney updo with crown braid

02:16
We LOVE Frozen so this a hairstyle inspired by Anna's coronation updo hairstyle in Disney's Frozen movie. We show you how to use your own hair for the braid headband since we don't have a braided headband (and didn't want to spend money on one) and a quick hack for adding a ribbon to any adorable girl's hairstyle. Use your favorite ribbon and tie a bow around a bobby pin for a perfect hair accessory! This cute girl braid is moderately difficult the first time you try it but then is much easier the next time! All you need to do this beautiful Princess Anna inspired updo from Disney's Frozen movie are rubberbands (clear or hair color work best), bobbypins (hair color work best) and a brush. This cute girl's hairstyle tutorial shows step by step how to do this adorable updo and look like Anna from the movie Frozen! Definitely one of our favorite movies :) Silly AVAcado's hair had a few frizzy parts which we could have tamed with a little hairspray. She has long hair that is somewhat thin but we think it looks Anna inspired and hope you like it too! Really cute hairstyle for girls! Hope you try it too and look like Princess Anna! Queen Elsa, Olaf, Christof and all the Frozen friends would love this cute hairstyle! Perfect girl hairstyle for Halloween if you or your daughter want to be Anna from the movie Frozen! Happy Halloween! 🎃 ❤ Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! Collecting Seashells & Learning Shell Names at Sanibel Island, FL - Seashell capital of the world!

02:32
Visit Sanibel Island, FL with us! Learn seashell names and look at our shell collection! Tell us if you go shelling and which seashell is your favorite! Sanibel Island, Florida is the shell capital of the world and definitely deserves that title. The most amazing shells can be found there. Plus the water is warm, the beaches aren't crowded and the waves are small. We always have a great day with family and friends soaking up the sun (make sure to wear sunscreen!) and shell hunting. When going to Sanibel, we always pack lunch, bring an umbrella for shade and our new favorite beach toy is a pool raft. The beach is shallow and the waves are small so floating around in the ocean on a raft is perfect! A couple shovels, little beach buckets, towels, lots of sunscreen, a rolling beach cart and you are all set! Great summer activity for the whole family! Or therapeutic to walk along the shore and look for sea shells by yourself. :) Most important tip is to not take anything that has something lining in it. Usually the shells are empty but sometimes you will find a FL fighting conch with something lining in the shell and we just leave those where they are. A couple times we have found sand dollars but they are still living so we don't take them. When they are alive, the sand dollars are grey in color as opposed to white how we always see them in stores. We have visited Sanibel Island quite a few times and always go shelling for beautiful shells. We go looking for sea shells in the Summer and in the Fall as the weather is always beautiful in FL. In our shell collection, we have turkey wings, shark eyes, flyspeck ceriths, Florida fighting conch shells, lots of little tiny shells, alphabet cones, Atlantic giant cockles, apple murex, rose murex, lightning whelk, slipper snail sea shells, scallop shells, lettered olives and some seashells that we aren't sure what they are called. Hope you had fun at Sanibel beach with us and going shelling! Hope you go shell hunting too! Tell us your favorite shell. Was it a small shell? A big seashell? Pink? Orange? Brown? Love to hear from you! Please subscribe to my channel: http://www.youtube.com/SillyAvacadoTime?sub_confirmation=1 Music from Jukedeck - create your own at http://jukedeck.com

How to Make Elsa & Olaf Window Clings with Puffy Paint - Frozen Snowflake Holiday DIY

Download the template below and make easy DIY Frozen themed window clings for the holidays! Elsa, Olaf and snowflakes! ❤ Download Frozen Template ❤ http://www.sillyavacado.com/pdfs/SillyAVAcado-Frozen-Window-Clings-Template.pdf Fun holiday decor for a Christmas party or keep them up year round if you love Frozen! Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! If you like my videos, please thumbs up and share them :) Please subscribe to my channel: http://www.youtube.com/SillyAvacadoTime?sub_confirmation=1 --- ❤❤❤ --- You only need a few things to make these adorable Frozen themed crafts. The template, gallon size Ziplock bags and puffy paint. This was a fun craft we did while listening to Christmas music. Have your toddlers and kids help you make a fun window cling! Fun for parents and adults to make too! Love DIY crafts! Our household loves everything Frozen, Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Sven, Christof and Hans! Silly AVAcado wanted to wear her Frozen t-shirt with Elsa and Anna on it and had her hair in two braids like Anna. She made her own special versions of puffy paint snowflake window clings while Mommy helped make the rest :) The only tip is to make sure they are really dry before you try to peel them off the Ziplock bag. If they don't peel easily, they probably need to dry longer. Also, they like to stick to each other a little bit so be careful not to stack the puffy paint window clings on top of each other. --- ❤❤❤ --- What you need: - Puffy paint (we used Tulip brand from Michael's arts and crafts store) - Template (or anything you want to turn into a DIY window cling) - Ziplock bags (gallon size) How to make your own holiday window clings with puffy paint: - Print out the template using the link above - Put the paper in the gallon size Ziplock bag - Close the seal on the bag; the paper will be in the seal which holds it in place while you make the Frozen window cling for your windows during the holidays (or all year!) - Trace the outside window cling design of the template with puffy paint and then fill it in - use whatever color you want! We made a neon orange puffy paint Olaf holiday window cling! And a silver puffy paint Elsa holiday window cling! Share pictures of your homemade holiday window clings!! ❤ Can't wait to see them!

How to Make Bright Sidewalk Chalk in Fun Shapes! Easy DIY Washable Chalk!

02:37
Silly AVAcado shows you how to make easy sidewalk chalk with 3 ingredients! ❤ Much less prep time and much less mess! ❤ Silicone molds are the way to go!! Plus the chalk is more fun to draw with if it is in the shape of something fun. We used a heart mold but you can use any silicone mold you want. Easy to pour the sidewalk chalk mixture into and really simple to get out. Silly AVAcado had fun taking them out all by herself! ❤ Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! If you like my videos, please thumbs up and share them :) ❤ Please subscribe to my channel: http://www.youtube.com/SillyAvacadoTime?sub_confirmation=1 ❤❤❤ We tried using plastic eggs and Hello Kitty eggs but it was super messy for Silly AVAcado to coat the inside of the eggs with vaseline. If you fill each side too high the egg doesn't want to close properly which was another issue we had. Also, you have to wait until the chalk mixture has set but not hardened too much to stick together when you close the egg. Looks cute once the chalk egg is complete but not easy for little kids to help with. The Hello Kitty somewhat held the shape but the bow wasn't that great and they are not level for balancing until they set a little. We tried toilet paper rolls but found that it was hard to line it with wax or parchment paper and took longer for the chalk mixture to set. ❤❤❤ ❤ I love this easy and cheap homemade sidewalk chalk DIY idea and hope you do too! ❤ Music: http://www.bensound.com

Braids - 5 Easy Back-To-School Braid Hairstyles for Toddler Girls! How To Braid Hair/Princess Braid

04:13
Silly AVAcado gets her hair braided! Mornings can be rushed so here are five (5) quick and easy braid hairstyle ideas for toddlers, two (2) year olds and girls of all ages and all lengths of hair! Silly AVAcado has her hair braided as a simple and easy braid, fishtail braid, two (2) pigtail braids, two (2) half up half down braids and a twisty braid. The twisty braid reminds Silly AVAcado of Queen Elsa’s hair in Frozen. It also works like a hair headband to keep hair out of Silly AVAcado’s face. Twist each of the two (2) strands of hair to the right and then wrap those around each other to the left. If the twist seems to unravel, try twisting the individual strands more to the right before wrapping them around each other. Watch Silly AVAcado's 6 quick and easy ponytail hairstyles video too! https://youtu.be/MWHlrvfM2vo We have tried a lot of rubber bands for little girls’ hair and our favorite by far are the small rubbery rubber bands that we found at the grocery store. Learn Color Mixing with Chromatography 💜 What's in your marker? Science How to! Rainbows!

02:42
What's in your markers? Learn what colors are mixed into one marker to make it! If you have coffee filters and markers you should do this! Science and chromatography are awesome! We tried a ton of different markers and our smelly markers made the best display of colors on the coffee filter strips. Each color marker makes a different display of colors so have fun and try different markers and learn how the colors combine to make new colors with chromatography. We tried thin Crayola markers, thicker Crayola markers, magic markers, and a couple others too. The black marker had so many more colors separate out than we expected! We saw blue, yellow, red...so awesome! We learned that if you mix lots of colors together you can make black. Red and blue make purple however our purple smelly marker was more pink in color when the colors separated out. So pretty! Blue and yellow make green! Our green marker was awesome! We could easily see the three colors on the coffee filter strip. Red and yellow make orange! The yellow was pretty and the red looked a little more on the pink side. How to safely paint your child's nails w/ non-toxic kid-friendly Piggy Paint nail polish

03:36
Silly AVAcado gets her nails painted! Feel pampered like a princess and get a manicure! Can I paint my 2 year old's nails? Can I safely paint my toddler/child's nails? Yes!! There are brands like Piggy Paint that are non-toxic and kid friendly. You can paint your child's fingernails without worrying about what chemicals are in your adult nail polish by using kid-friendly nail polish! We used Piggy Paint nail polish and nail polish remover for the first time. Our pretty pink bag came with three nail polish colors: Pinkie Promise, Girls Rule and Forever Fancy. Such pretty light pink, hot pink and purple colors and they are glittery and shimmer in the sunshine! Silly AVAcado likes to get her nails painted for special occasions. The nail polish and nail polish remover are all natural, non-toxic, low odor and kid friendly. Perfect for your little ones, toddlers and princesses as the fingernail polish doesn't have the extra chemicals that adult nail polish has. The nail polish color is nice and bright and goes on really well with good color coverage. Not a messy nail polish which is a huge plus! One of the nail polish brush bristles wasn't even but with a little snip of the scissors it was a quick fix. Because Silly AVAcado is too young to sit for a top coat of polish, the Piggy Paint nail polish seemed to chip and come off the edges of her nails pretty quickly. It's a small trade off for pretty painted nails and more natural polish!! Overall we love Piggy Paint nail polish based on the awesome color selection and ease of painting nails with the thicker polish! Would make a great gift for a friend's birthday present! Perfect idea for a little girl's spa birthday party! Also the bottle of Piggy Paint nail polish is big enough that toddler and mommy or a babysitter can both use the sparkly polish and have matching fingernail polish on! Leave a comment and tell Silly AVAcado what your favorite nail polish color is! Found a color that you think looks pretty and want to see what it looks like on? Let me know! How to Make Glitter Slime! Easy DIY glitter goo! Not as messy as other slime :)

03:01
Make Glitter Slime with Silly AVAcado! We tried a couple recipes and this was the least messy and sticky for little hands. The Elmer's Glitter Glue was less gooey than using regular Elmer's white glue and adding food coloring and glitter. ** Learn how to make Magnetic Slime: https://youtu.be/B5goJIaghbs So easy to make! Mix water and Borax for a binding solution. While that dissolves, mix the water and glue together. Once mixed, add in the Borax solution and watch the magic happen! So fun to mix it all together with your hands. Make sure to store it in a Ziplock bag or mason jar. You can even put it in a Tupperware. Perfect for development of fine motor skills for early learning! A fun idea for a kid party is to put individual ingredients into smaller sealed Ziplock bags and and let each kid mix them up. Choose your own color! If you are going to be making a lot of slime, the white glue might be cheaper than buying a lot of colored glitter glue (although the purple glitter glue is really pretty). DIY Melted Perler Beads Bowl - Make an Easy Jack-O-Lantern Halloween Candy Bowl w/ Biggie Beads!

03:26
Have leftover Perler Biggie Beads? We did! ❤ Learn how to make a pretty melted bead bowl. Silly AVAcado's easy DIY tutorial will show you how to melt Perler Biggie Beads (you can use the smaller Perler beads too!) and easily melt them into a bowl. We had unused biggie beads and wanted to do a fun craft to use them up :) This easy DIY was perfect and really easy! Plus it used things that we already had in the house. Our first melted Perler Biggie Bead bowl was rainbow colored. Our second melted bead bowl we did had a jack-o-lantern face on it. If we had more black beads we would have tried a cat. We are going to use it for Halloween and put our candy in it! Such a fun and simple craft project for kids and adults. Best DIY Play Dough Recipe! How to Make Play Doh w/ Kool-Aid! Homemade Easy & Fun Playdoh for Kids!

03:00
Let’s make our own Play-Doh!! ❤ Make homemade Play Dough with Silly AVAcado for a fun and easy DIY craft idea! ❤ We use mainly Kool-Aid but add food coloring to the yellow, blue and green playdough. We make some really pretty rainbow colors: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue and purple. The colors are really bright! The play dough smells really good with the Kool Aid and is a soft consistency. We store the homemade Play-Doh in seran wrap but you can also use Ziplock bags as a quick and easy storage idea. FYI, a small container of McCormick's Cream of Tartar from the grocery store made these six balls of playdoh and there was enough left for one more batch. Match colors with the finished Play Dough. Perfect for development of fine motor skills and a great sensory activity for early learning! Have your early learners practice their colors for a head start! Hope you have lots of fun making this! :) -- ❤❤❤ -- ** Please have an adult help with the cooking portion on the stove ** Ingredients: - 1 cup flour - 1/2 cup salt - 2 teaspoons Cream of Tartar - serving size bag of Kool-Aid or food coloring (or both!) - 1 cup water - 1 tablespoon oil Instructions: Mix the dry ingredients in a pot or sauce pan. Add the water, oil and food coloring (optional). On medium heat, micx it all together until it forms a ball. It happens pretty quickly but you have to be sure to keep stirring the play dough mixture so it doesn't all stick to the bottom and sides. Carefully transfer the play doh to a plate to let it cool. Knead the play dough. Store in something airtight when not using. Enjoy! It is a great texture and smells sweet. -- ❤❤❤ -- ❤ Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! ❤ Rainbow Color Changing Milk Experiment w/ Food Coloring & Dish Soap - Fun Science Fair Project :)

03:06
Need a fun science experiment for a rainy day activity or a school science fair project? We had rain today so this was a great milk and food coloring project with things that we had in the house. ❤ Safe and free! ❤ All you need for this rainbow color changing milk experiment are q-tips, milk, a plate or bowl, food coloring and dish soap. We used a toilet paper roll and that made pretty designs in the milk as well. ❤ Simple and fun enough for a 3 year old :) - Just pour the milk into a plate or bowl (we used 1% but the higher the fat content the better...like whole milk) - Add food coloring - Dip your cotton swab/q-tip into the dish soap (we used Palmolive) - Touch the g-tip to the plate of food coloring/milk and watch the milk magic!! ❤ Looks like magic but it's actually science. The change in surface tension caused by the dish soap touching the milk fat makes the beautiful designs on the plate with the food coloring. So pretty and colorful and only uses a little milk at a time if you use a smaller plate so you can do lots of rainbow designs. Awesome science trick for school or classroom demonstration or a bunch of kids. Practice colors with early learners for a head start! This is an easy way to make learning fun :) For more detailed information on the science behind the rainbow color changing milk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1eIiQ2hNF8 ❤ Hope you have lots of fun doing this! :) ❤ Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! 10 Kinder Surprise Eggs & Fun Kid Toys From Around the World! Pony, Train & More Eggs Surprises!

04:39
Silly AVAcado opens 10 Kinder surprise eggs from all over the world! Grandma and Grandpa were on vacation in Spain and Israel and found a Polish Kinder egg somewhere along their travels too. Opening the Kinder surprise egg to see what small toy is inside is just as much fun as playing with the toy! The chocolate is a nice treat too but Mommy really likes the eggs with hazelnut treats inside. Silly AVAcado is only allowed to have a little bit of the chocolate at a time :) If you refrigerate the chocolate you can save it for later. This selection of 10 Kinder Eggs are from other countries: - Spain: Kinder Sorpresa - Poland: Kinder Niespodzianka - Israel: Kinder הפתעה (I am not sure what the additional letters on the egg say. Let me know if you can translate!) Silly AVAcado's other Grandma was just in Italy so our next Kinder surprise egg video will have special Italian surprise eggs! How to Make Minion Easter Eggs with Food Coloring - Fun Easter DIY craft!

02:47
Thumbs up if you like Minions too!! This is a fun DIY Easter craft :) Silly AVAcado has Easter fun opening her Paas Color Cups Easter Egg Decorating Kit and dying Easter eggs! Watch how to hard boil eggs: https://youtu.be/PZA1mnwCEmE Silly AVAcado has her mommy and daddy make hard boiled eggs so they can be dyed yellow and blue colors like a Minion. If you are little like Silly AVAcado, make sure to stay away from the stove and let a parent make the hard boiled eggs for you. Silly AVAcado loved the yellow and blue eggs but they were harder to dye evenly than we had hoped. After you hard boil the eggs, dye the pointy half of the egg with yellow food coloring, let them dry, then dye the other half of the egg with blue food coloring. Once they are completely have an adult use a marker to draw clothes on them so they really look like Minion Easter eggs. Eating the hard boiled egg at the end was just as much fun as making them! So much fun as Silly AVAcado loves the Minion movie and the Easter egg Minions too! Parent tip #1: If your eggs have a stamped brand on them, a little vinegar will remove the stamp for even coloring when dying. Parent tip #2: The easiest way to peel the shell off of a hard boiled egg is to tap an end with the bottom of a spoon, slip the end of the spoon under the shell and carefully move it around the egg. Works every time! Leave a comment if you want Silly AVAcado to make a quick video to show you how! Rose Gold iPhone 6s Unboxing ❤ Mini Review by 3 Yr Old ❤ Mom's Pink iPhone is the Best iPhone!

02:31
We watched the Apple keynote and were so excited to get the new iPhone 6s (64GB)! ❤ The new rose gold color is SO PRETTY and love the pink colored iPhone! Daddy got the space gray color iPhone. ❤ Silly AVAcado's Dad says he's so excited about all the awesome new iPhone 6s specs (Retina HD display with 3D Touch, LED-backlit widescreen, fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating on front, A9 chip, New 12-megapixel iSight camera...) but Mom says it is so beautiful and like a piece of art...and Live Photos will be fun to see :) ❤ Watch Silly AVAcado unbox the beautiful iPhone and her reaction is priceless. Although we will probably let her use the iPad for YouTube videos or invest in a clear case for the iPhone. Don't want to risk having this one fall on accident. We are an Apple loving family!! Silly AVAcado even made pretend calls to Tim Cook and Jony Ive :) From first impressions it is an exceptional phone and anticipate loving it more as we use them. Next on the must have Apple list: matching iPhone Lightning Docks and Apple Watches :) ❤ Hope you had lots of fun watching this and go get yourself a new iPhone! :) ❤ Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! How to Dye Disney Princess Easter Eggs! How to Make Eggs! DIY Coloring! Disney Princess Stickers!

04:13
Silly AVAcado has Easter fun opening her Disney Princess Easter Egg Decorating Kit and dying Easter eggs! She has her mommy and daddy show how to make hard boiled eggs so they can be dyed pretty colors. If you are little like Silly AVAcado, make sure to stay away from the stove and let a parent make the hard boiled eggs for you. Silly AVAcado loved the orange and blue eggs the best as the color was the most even. Eating the hard boiled egg at the end was just as much fun as making them! The pretty Disney Princess sleeves would have been fun but were too big for the eggs we had so we used the cardboard princess stands and decorated with Disney Princess stickers. Silly AVAcado put the sticker of Ariel in her green dress on the green egg, Sleeping Beauty in her pink dress went on the pink egg, Cinderella in her blue dress went on the blue egg and the orange egg got other girlie stickers. So much fun as Silly AVAcado loves Disney Princesses and stickers! Leave a comment and tell me how your Disney Princess Easter eggs turned out! Watch Sponge Insects Grow! ❤ Learn Fun Insect Animal Facts for Kids! Magic Grow Insect Animals!

02:44
$1 activity for kids! Did you know butterflies taste with their feet?! Silly AVAcado loves learning about insects and animals! Thanks for watching and liking! Appreciate your support! Silly AVAcado liked all of them but the butterfly was fun. Leave a comment and let Silly AVAcado know what your favorite insect is :) We recommend you get a cheap package of foam animal capsules from Target or Michael's craft store for a fun afternoon activity. We've done these in Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall! Great all year! The water can get a little messy if your little one wants to play with it so it is better to do outside and have fun splashing. Some packages are bugs and others we have seen are ocean animals. This package we opened were insects and were so much fun! Silly AVAcado likes to learn a fun fact about each animal. In this video we have an ant, scorpion, spider, butterfly, bee, grasshopper, ladybug, dragonfly, fly, caterpillar, snail and roach. Watch the video to learn a fun fact about each insect! Watch another sponge animal video and learn about dolphins, sharks, seahorses, crabs, tuna, lobsters and whales. Paint Silly Seashells from the Beach! Fun & Easy DIY summer kid craft idea! Decorate w/ Googly Eyes!

03:47
Happy Summer!! ❤ Watch Silly AVAcado at the beach where she found shells to paint for a fun and easy summer DIY craft idea! ❤ We used paint brushes and a small sponge paint roller but you can fingerpaint if you want to! We used Crayola washable paint that was bought at Target (the set came with really pretty rainbow colors: white, red, orange, yellow, green, dark blue, light blue, pink, purple and brown) and decorated with googly eyes that we took off an old birthday card and some extra buttons. Why buy new when you can repurpose something you already have! Use the painted shells as gifts, paperweights or just to look cute on a shelf. Hope you have lots of fun doing this! :) This is a free activity that was lots of fun! Excited to go back to the beach for more shells! Have your early learner practice their colors and numbers for motor skill development too. Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! Shopkins Small Mart Grocery Store Toy Playset + 14 New Shopkins! Special Edition & Ultra Rare!

03:24
Silly AVAcado opens the new Shopkins™ Small Mart grocery store and Season 2 Special Edition 12 Pack! She was so excited to get Sippy Sips a Special Edition Shopkins™ and Sweeps and Ultra Rare Shopkins™! Hours of fun to put all the grocery departments’ (fruits and vegetables, bakery, homewares, sweet treats, pantry, cleaning and laundry, shoes and baby) items on the shelves. Then, just like mommy and daddy, get your shopping list and let’s go grocery shopping! You can put Shopkins™ in the small grocery basket (so cute in hot pink/purple and complete with working handles!) or put the Shopkins™ down the slide into the adorable little grocery bags. The Shopkins™ Small Mart even comes with a mini grocery cart to hold your favorite Shopkins™ friends. Once you find all the items on your grocery list, head to the mini checkout counter and move the items across the belt into the grocery bags. The belt is a little difficult to move for little girls but works better if you can hold the checkout counter still with your other hand or with a parent/friend’s help. Silly AVAcado wishes the scanner made a sound when you put a Shopkins™ on it! We love Shopkins™! Here is what Silly AVAcado got with her Shopkins™ Small Mart and additional Season 2 Special Edition 12 pack: Special Edition Shopkins™: - Sippy Sips (it is fuzzy and the favorite one in this pack!) Ultra Rare Shopkins™: - Sweeps Rare Shopkins™: - Waffle Sue - Chris P Crackers - Fi Fi Flour - Saucy Pan Common Shopkins™: - Choco Lava (also a favorite!) - Heels - Sneaky Wedge - Squeaky Clean - Boo-Hoo Onion - Danni Danish Silly AVAcado likes to pack a few Shopkins™ in the mini grocery basket when going to a restaurant. It provides lots of quiet playtime and Silly AVAcado has so much fun playing with them! The fuzzy Sippy Sips Special Edition Shopkins™ is my favorite! Do Kids Like Sun Basket? 💜 Sun Basket Unboxing & Review 💜 3rd Meal Delivery Kit Review!

05:08
💜 Sun Basket is the third food box review of a series where we review several Meal Subscription Boxes. Our weeks are full of work, school, gymnastics, homework, etc. so these meal delivery services are a great way to have healthy and well balanced meals delivered to your door. We started with Blue Apron when it just began as a meal subscription service and have really enjoyed trying new foods and recipes that we otherwise wouldn't have eaten. We wanted to try the other meal delivery kit reviews to see which ones worked best and were worth the cost of getting meals delivered. Sun Basket was 2 person chef's choice option. The portions are good on Sun Basket. Sun Basket offers vegetarian meal recipes and paleo meal recipe options. The recipes require a less time to prep and cook than Blue Apron and are delicious but Hello Fresh was still faster than Sun Basket. We try to make this a fun family activity when we can. Silly AVAcado is usually on produce/herb washing duties and loves to help out with making Sun Basket dinners. :) Hope you enjoyed watching and have fun cooking! 💜 Thumbs up if you like my video and want to see more! We have more to share! Stay tuned as Silly AVAcado tries Blue Apron, Sun Basket, Terra's Kitchen, Green Chef and much more! 💜 Leave a comment to tell me if you liked this Sun Basket meal subscription kit product review video! How to Make Magnetic Slime! Easy DIY magnetic goo you can add glitter to!

02:20
Thumbs up if you like science and magnetic slime! ❤ We didn't have strong magnets at the house so we used a stud finder and it worked really well to attract the magnetic goo. Hope you make magnetic slime with Silly AVAcado! You can add glitter to this for magnetic glitter slime! ** Learn how to make Glitter Slime: https://youtu.be/z4oe5n5WhDI This was the least messy and sticky recipe for little hands. The Elmer's Glue was a little sticky but came off easily with hand washing. So easy to make! Mix water and Borax for a binding solution. While that dissolves, mix the water and glue together. Once mixed, add in the Borax solution and watch the magic happen! So fun to mix it all together. Make sure to store it in a Ziplock bag or mason jar when you are done. You can even put it in a Tupperware. Perfect for development of fine motor skills for early learning! The metal filings oxidize so we didn't end up keeping it as the color changes. If you are going to be making a lot of magnetic slime goo, the white glue would be cheaper than buying a lot of colored glitter glue. We didn't try using glitter glue but assume it would would make really pretty and glittery magnetic goo. Thanks for watching and supporting Silly AVAcado! Meet my cat Dewey too! ❤ MORE DETAILS BELOW! This pink and white modern bedroom Silly AVAcado has had decorated like this since she was a baby girl and now she is a toddler girl but she still loves it! We have had some requests to for a room tour so here we go! Silly AVAcado LOVES her room and wanted to show it to you! It is a simple pink and white toddler room fit for a princess. She even shows her favorite princess magic clips :) The only things we keep in the room besides clothes and shoes are a few books for bedtime reading and a few stuffed animals. All the toys stay in the playroom for now so that the bedroom is for napping and sleeping. We looked at a lot of room pictures to decorate the room before Silly AVAcado was born and we could not have been happier with the pretty pink baby girl room. Now that she is 3 and still loves the room we know that we made it perfect for her. Do Kids Like Terra's Kitchen? 💜 Terra's Kitchen Unboxing & Review 💜 4th Meal Delivery Kit Review!

05:23
💜 Terra's Kitchen is the fourth food box review of a series where we review several Meal Subscription Boxes. Our weeks are full of work, school, gymnastics, homework, etc. so these meal delivery services are a great way to have healthy and well balanced meals delivered to your door. 💜 BUY THE DINOSAUR TACO HOLDER ON AMAZON! http://amzn.to/2yvrIL3 Terra's Kitchen offers gluten free, vegan, low calorie and weight loss dinner options. Terra's Kitchen portions are good. Terra's Kitchen recipes require a lot less time to prepare than the other meal boxes since everything is already washed, cut and prepped. One meal took about 30 minutes but the second meal took a LOT longer because the meal was slow cooked. Thankfully we read the recipe in the morning. All you have to do is cook! The box comes with a lot of ice packs so it was a like a mini fridge but you have to return the whole box and ice packs. The really nice thing is that to return the Terra's Kitchen box, you just put it outside your door and the delivery service comes and picks it up. Don't have to worry about recycling the box as Terra's Kitchen dies it for you! Also, the food was delicious. You do pay for the convenience of having everything prepped so it is more expensive. We started with Blue Apron when it just began as a meal subscription service and have really enjoyed trying new foods and recipes that we otherwise wouldn't have eaten. We wanted to try the other meal delivery kit reviews to see which ones worked best and were worth the cost of getting meals delivered. We try to make this a fun family activity when we can. How to Make Marbled Shoes! 💜Easy Tie Dyed Shoes DIY - Fun and Easy for Kids!

05:28
Fun, easy and they're so cute! 💜A 5 year old can make marble tie dyed shoes all by herself. Silly AVAcado was so proud that she made the marble dyed shoes! Her friends want to make them too. :) Tie dyed shoes are fun and easy for everyone! One shoe was dropped into the marbling medium with the swirled dye but it still came out great. Kid proof to make awesome shoes and no one will get frustrated. This would be a fun birthday party activity...maybe just do it outside as it could get messy! Or fun project for back to school. - Michaels: https://bit.ly/2IBe5OM - Amazon: https://amzn.to/2yVyEpp - Target: we saw in the store but not online Buy these white canvas shoes on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2KzOYku Tulip Marbling Fabric Dye Kit comes with: - 1 pink marbling dye - 1 blue marbling dye - 1 yellow marbling dye - 2 magic marbling mediums - 1 set protective gloves Shoes sold separately. You can use any cotton/canvas shoe. Ours are Converse knock offs. We like how they don't need shoelaces since we are still learning how to tie shoes. The instructions tell you to wash and dry the shoes before dipping them in the dye. Dipped shoes have to sit for 8 hours with the dye/marbling mixture on the shoes. Then rinse, wash, dry and wear! Make sure your little one wears dark clothes and cover the table just in case there is splashing or messy gloves. The gloves that came with the kit are very large. We tried them for a bit and then changed to different disposable gloves and they were much easier to work with. 💜Subscribe to my channel 💜 https://www.youtube.com/SillyAvacadoTime 💜PS - Silly AVAcado picked some of her favorite stuffed animals to watch in the background. :) 💜Like my mermaid t-shirt?
