Kel-Tec SU-16CA Review with Primary Arms Micro Dot

06:36
A quick Table Top review of the Kel-Tec SU-16CA. This has been a fun gun to shoot. It has next to no recoil and is really light weight. It's a gas operated, semi-loading rifle chambered in 5.56 mm NATO caliber. It is intended to be the perfect everyman's sport and utility rifle. The rifling is 1 turn in 9 inches, right hand twist. The SU-16 has a conventional, long-stroke gas-piston operation and utilizes the proven Johnson/Stoner breech locking system. It is compatible with standard AR-15/M-16 magazines. The reciprocating bolt handle and magazine catch are on the right side, while the push bolt safety can be changed to work from either side. Except for barrel and operating components, the SU-16 is made entirely of high impact reinforced polymer. No need for a bullet button because the SU-16 doesn't have a pistol grip!! But is not something that I would bet my life on. That is why this is probably the last you will see of this gun as it is heading back to the dealer to be traded in for a new toy. Stay tuned to see what we get. Check out our Facebook page for more updates and pictures.

AR-15 Pistol Build - Part 2 : 80% Lower Receiver - Drilling

05:45
In Part 2, I'm "roughing it out" aka drilling the holes in the lower. This process can be done in less then 10 mins once you're setup (an know what you're doing). I ended up drilling a couple holes too deep simply because I pressed too hard on the drill and the collar-stop slipped a bit without me noticing. Stop when the collar-stop just touches the template surface... We'll see if it affects the usability of the lower... Desert Tech SRS-A1 .260 REM @ 1,000 Yards

08:43
We ordered some steel targets from JC Steel Targets and that was the perfect excuse to take a trip to the mountain and do shot long range testing! So we took the DT SRS-A1 to one of our favorite spot in the NorCal mountains to shoot some steel at 1,000 yards. The wind was kinda gusty and it was 100ºF+ but we had fun and connected with the targets several times. http://www.jcsteeltargets.com/ P.s. The town you see in the background is probably 5-6 miles behind the target. The target is on a hill at 2,828ft, we were shooting from 2,860ft and the hill behind the target is 360 yards further at 2,880-ish. No access road coming from the other end either. IWI Tavor TSB16CA - Factory CA Compliant Tavor... Ten-Day Waiting Period

02:01
We got our hands on a factory CA compliant, California legal Tavor, code name TSB16CA. Now we have to wait 10 days before we can pick it up... This all could change! Last September, a federal district court judge recently ruled that California’s mandatory 10-day waiting period for firearm purchases violates the Second Amendment as applied to individuals who already lawfully possess at least one firearm that is registered to them in the California Department of Justice (DOJ) Automated Firearms System (AFS), or who possess a valid Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) license. Until then, we have to wait! So stay tuned and visit us on FB : www.facebook.com/CAGuns !!!!

So, The Daily Shooter came up with a creative way to (sort of) CCW... [ http://goo.gl/t0foQl ] We thought we'd give it a shot and see how fast we can: 1/ Get out of the truck 2/ Unlock a backpack (TSA Combination Lock) 3/ Grab the mag, load it 4/ Shoot 10 rounds (that's all we can get...) Gun: Glock 17 Ammo: ZQI 124gr 9mm If you have a definitive answer to our questions, please leave them in the comments!! Think you can do better TDS?? Unboxing the IWI Tavor TSB16CA - Factory CA Compliant

07:24
Finally!!! 10 days later, we get to pick up the Tavor!! And man, is it a gorgeous rifle!!! The TSB16CA is the factory CA compliant version of the Tavor made by IWI US. No need for a gunsmith to retrofit a regular Tavor in order to make it CA compliant... Some of the benefits are the guarantee that it's a high quality product 100% made by IWI US (just like any Tavor) and that the extended 4-inch muzzle brake is actually functional (as opposed to the fake cans, etc.)! Can wait to take it to the range but we can already tell you, it's an awesome package and the bullpup design is extremely well executed!

FN SCAR 17S & Burris Eliminator III @588 yards

08:38
Went for a stroll in the CA mountains and we were able to test the Eliminator III @277 yards and 588 yards with the trusty SCAR 17S. Right off the bat, a pleasant surprise from TulAmmo!! Reliable and more accurate than the CBC... Would not have guessed that one! There's definitely a learning curve with the Eliminator III and it will take a bit more practice to get it down right but we both REALLY loved it!! Confirmation from our range day, Burris nailed it with this one!! The rangefinder is quick and accurate (we doubled checked all distance with the Bushnell Elite Tactical 1-Mile ARC)!! The reticle is easy to use and once you've figured out how to interpret the windage offset, it's a breeze (pun intended) to use. More in depth review as we keep testing different ammo and putting this scope through its paces. Enjoy!! Tavor TSB16CA Out for some Fun

Happy Labor Day!! Almost 10 months with the Tavor TSB16CA and I have to say, it's one of the rifle I have the most fun with! Shooting a 40% IPSC 3/8" steel target @50 yards and a 66% IPSC 1/2" @100 yards. The Tavor SAR is really accurate, super reliable and has great ergonomics... I know the price-tag is steep compared to an AR-15, but let's face it, it's in a different class! And no, I'm not saying AR-15 suck! You just get more features & benefits out of this rifle IMO. Unboxing the Burris Eliminator III 3-12x44 Laser Rangefinder Scope

05:44
Yet another unboxing! This time, it's the Burris Eliminator III 3-12x Laser Scope!! We'll be putting this scope onto the SCAR Heavy (SCAR 17S) and see how it performs. The POU (philosophy of use) for this scope is mainly focused around hunting wild pigs and quick target acquisition within 200-700 yards. Being able to quickly get the proper hold over for both elevation and windage. The Eliminator III is effective up to 1,200+ yards (750 on deer) and it's possibly the most advanced rifle scope on the planet in this price range. We mounted the Eliminator III on a LaRue Tactical Picatinny Riser QD LT101 for ease of use and being able to switch between the scope and a red dot. Our lovely assistant was kind enough to help us out, so enjoy, share, like and subscribe!! A 20-inch tall by 12-inch wide target at almost 1,000 yards is basically a 2 x 1.2 MOA (2" x 1.2" @100 yards).
