Should you Travel to Malaysia with a Baby or Toddler!? Our Thoughts

10:02
We are ending the end of our trip through Malaysia. We have spent time in Melaka, KL, Cameron Highlands, Penang, and Langkawi. We traveled through Malaysia with our 2 year old toddler and wanted to share some thoughts on whether you should visit Malaysia with a baby or toddler. So here are the pros and cons about visiting Malaysia with a baby or toddler. Here are the PROS of going on a family holiday to Malaysia with your baby. 1) You can top up on baby supplies easily 2) The people are incredibly welcoming towards kids 3) Most Airbnb's and hotels had baby cots included - free of cost. 4) You can use a stroller around most places in Malaysia. We also forgot to mention that English is well spoken here so you can always ask questions. Chemists are well stocked with medication so you can find things easily when you need. Here are the NEGATIVES of going on a vacation to Malaysia with your baby or toddler. 1) Legally you don't have to use car seats here, so you won't easily find them in transfers or taxis. We chose to rent a car so that we could rent a baby car seat to keep our little one safe. 2) Whilst breastfeeding in public is legal here, I would recommend that you bring a cover up and that you try to breastfeed discreetly. One that we forgot to mention is that we didn't find many baby rooms here in Malaysia and often had to resort to changing our little one's diaper in the pram in a quiet spot. We understand that other families might have completely different experiences as they travel around Malaysia and we invite you to share your experiences in our comments below to help families with young kids to decide whether this is the country for them. A Tour through Beautiful Colmar in Alsace, France!

10:12
Colmar Alsace in France is one of my favourite French towns! It is also known as Colmar Little Venice of France due to the canal that runs through a section of the town. You will find cobblestone pathways, colorful buildings, loads of pretzels and good food. The best thing to do in Colmar is to simply have no plan, just wander around and enjoy the atmosphere! Colmar old town is truly a unique destination! We highly recommend you stay for at least 3 nights. Use our link to get a special discount for your first AirBnB stay. See the Stunning Vanuatu Blue Lagoon on Efate Island

03:39
The stunning Vanuatu Blue Lagoon (Eton Natural Pools) on Efate Island (not too far from Port Vila) is a must-see! The area has picnic tables, basic changing facilities & toilets. You can also hire a kayak, although most people were simply enjoying the cool clear water with either a swim or braving the rope swings. Entrance is 600 VT per adults and kids were free. The lagoon is pretty deep so if you are travelling with little ones, we recommend you bring a safety vest. Whilst you could easily base yourself here for a full day, most people love to visit the Blue Lagoon as part of the popular 'Round-the-Island' tour. Grab tickets for the tour online here: http://shrsl.com/q6w0

Cameron Valley Tea House 1 or 2 or Boh Tea Plantation? | Cameron Highlands Malaysia Travel Guide

16:00
Have you included Cameron Highlands on your Malaysian Itinerary and wondering what to do whilst there? Whilst there are a few very humble Cameron Highlands attractions that you could choose to visit, we really loved focusing our attention on the beautiful Cameron Highlands Tea Plantations. If you are limited in time you might feel confused about which tea house to visit, so we have made a video of our favorite tea plantations to help you choose which one would be best for you. We help you choose between Cameron Valley Tea House 1 or 2, and we also have a look at Boh Tea Centre and Tea House as well. We love the walk in the plantations at Cameron Valley Tea House 1, but we love the views over Cameron Valley Tea House 2 the most. And if you love driving through the plantations, then you will love Boh Tea Plantation the most. Visiting one of the Siem Reap Floating Villages: Kampong Khleang

09:17
There are a few Siem Reap floating villages that you can visit. The Kampong Khleang Fishing Village is a bit further away, and therefore fewer tourists choose to see this village. Whilst we have heard that Kampong Phluk is pretty touristy and full of scams, we found Kampong Khleang to be pretty authentic and we enjoyed learning more about the local way of life both in the village as well as on Tonle Sap Lake. We saw the village as part of a Siem Reap Tour with Buffalo Tours. This tour company ensures that the money tourists spend on this tour goes back to the community. We love that! The cruise was top notch! You can read more about our Vietnam travels on our Vietnam Travel Blog: https://www.wanderluststorytellers.com/category/destinations/destination-vietnam/

Germany's Most Beautiful Lake: Lake Konigsee in Berchtesgaden, Bavaria

12:03
The following video will highlight the wonderful boat tour on Lake Konigsee in Bavaria, Germany. This lake happens to be Germany's cleanest lake. The boat tours are really affordable and the day is just truly blissful and relaxing. It takes 30 minutes to get to St. Bartholoma and another 30 min to get to Salet. Lake Obersee is another 20min hike from the stop at Salet. The hike is flat and really easy to do. We visited Berchtesgaden National Park towards the middle and October, it was only a week before they stopped running the boats all the way to the end of Salet. So make sure to check out the timetables for your visit. The weather was cool, so good idea to bring some layers of clothes as well. It was pretty chilly on the boats on the way back in the late afternoon. Should you Take your Baby or Toddler to Poland!?

07:27
We love Poland and we are having a wonderful time as we explore this beautiful country. We are travelling through Poland with 3 kids. Ages: 2 year's, 9 year's and 13 year's old. We have visited Warsaw, Ketzryn, Malbork, Gdansk, Torun, Poznan, Wroclaw, Krakow and Zakopane. So we are basis our opinions based on travel around these parts of Poland. We understand that other families might have completely different experiences as they travel around Poland and we invite you to share your experiences in our comments below to help families with young kids to decide whether this is the country for them. So here are the pros and cons about visiting Poland with a baby or toddler. Here are the PROS of going on a holiday to Poland with your baby. 1) You can top up on baby supplies easily 2) Most restaurants have baby toys and toddler activities (or kids' corners) 3) Most Airbnb's and hotels had baby cots (and sometimes other baby equipment) included free of cost. 4) Baby's and toddlers are free of charge at all the attractions and sights 5) You can use a stroller around most places in Poland. Here are the NEGATIVES of going on a vacation to Poland with your baby or toddler. 1) In many parts of Poland we really felt that as soon as Avie was a little teary that judgmental stares were on us. However we felt a lot more comfortable in destinations that typically see a lot more tourists, such as Krakow and Zakopane. If you have been to Poland with a baby or toddler, we would love to know how you experienced your vacation. Please also let us know which destinations you visited. A Malbork Castle Tour - Poland Travel Guide | The World's Largest Brick Castle!!

10:42
The following video will highlight the best way to fully enjoy your day at Malbork Castle Museum in Poland (Also known as the Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork). Whilst many travelers enjoy visiting this castle as a day trip from Gdansk, we chose to stay overnight in the town. Be warned that if you want to fully experience this castle you really need to spend at least 1/2 day to a full day on the grounds. It is an impressive castle. Here is some interesting information about it: - the largest castle in the world by land area - the largest brick castle in the world - UNESCO World Heritage Site - built by the Teutonic Knights in the 13th century We highly recommend that you grab the audio tour of the castle. Also, make sure to walk over the bridge to the opposite side to get glorious views over the castle (you will also better understand the impressive size of the castle from there). Here is our guide on how to visit Malbork Castle in Poland. Things to do in Landshut, Germany Travel Guide

14:10
The following video will highlight the best things to do in Landshut. Landshut is a city by the River Isar in Bavaria, southern Germany. It’s well known for the Trausnitz Castle, with its views across the old town. We stayed in Landshut by accident as we booked accommodation in Munich in the wrong month - the accommodation that was left was either super pricey or pretty crappy. So we booked ourselves into Landshut, which is only a 50 min train ride away from Munich. What to do in Landshut: 1. Walk down Altstadt 2. Walk down Neustadt 3. Enjoy a late afternoon stroll by the river 4. Walk to Trausnitz Castle and check out the beautiful views over the old town. 5. Visit St Martin's Church We hope you enjoyed our Landshut trael guide. Things to do in Poznan Old Town Square, Poland Travel Guide

13:26
The following video will highlight the best things to do in Poznan Old Town Square, perfect for those of you who only have a few hours to enjoy in this beautiful Polish city. We only had a half-a-day to visit the sights as Poznan was only a quick stop-over on our drive from Gdansk to Krakow during our Polish Road Trip. Here is our Poznan Travel Guide: Top things to do in Poznan Old Town Square. 1) Check out the 4 fountains that are located in the corners of the Square. 2) See the beautiful row of Merchant Houses 3) Take photos of the beautiful Town Hall (and pop inside if you are there from 11am onwards) 4) See the Goats at noon (Town Hall Clock Tower) 5) Try out a local Mylk Bar (or maybe not - we were slightly disappointed) 5) Enjoy the entertainment on the square (bubbles and balloons) Of course, there are loads of other things you can do in Poznan if you have more time. We visited Poznan towards the end of September and had cold windy weather. So best to bring some clothes that you can layer for warmth. Visiting Ketrzyn in Poland

19:56
Hi guys, Andrzej here. I wanted to show you my hometown, the town where I grew up, Ketrzyn. It is a bit of an emotional video for me... hahaha... Lots of memories here! This video is all about Ketrzyn that I remember, the houses I used to live in, and the playgrounds I used to run around in when I was a kid. You will also have a sneak peek into the Polish hospitality. We will show you some of Ketrzyn's main attractions, like the Medieval Church. We will take you up to the top of the tower to see the views over the town and have a wander around the main streets as well. Hope you like the video. An Awesome Road Trip around Efate Island, Vanuatu!

21:55
One of the popular things to do on Efate Island in Vanuatu is to go on a tour of the island. You can do this by either renting a car and doing it yourself or by joining a tour. Rent your car: http://bit.ly/VanuatuHertz Recommended tour: http://bit.ly/FullIslandTour You can choose to either do the circuit in one or two days. We chose to do it in one day with main stops at Port Vila market, Blue Lagoon, Eton Beach, Havannah Harbour, Port Vila Lookout and Mele Cascades Waterfalls. If you choose to do the circuit over two days you might want to include turtle feeding and Hideaway island into your trip. You can hire a baby seat from most major car rental companies, but the cars don't have anchors so you will need to tie the strap around the headrest to secure it properly. Love daytrip, which you can start around 8am and complete by 5pm. Enjoy!!

How to get from Krabi to Railay West, Tonsai & Phranang Cave Beach, Thailand

18:15
Wondering how to get from Krabi to Railay Beach in Krabi Thailand? We have a fabulous video for you packed with loads of helpful info on how to plan your day. We look at the 3 popular beaches: Railay Beach, Krabi Tonsai Beach Krabi Phranang Cave Beach, Krabi (Also spelled Pranang Cave Beach) We explain how to get to both Tonsai as well as Phranang Cave Beach from Railay Beach. We also compare all three the beaches to help you figure out which you would like to visit. The main beaches in Krabi are pretty average, so if you are staying in Krabi I can't recommend a trip out to these beaches highly enough. Important to note that the water to get these beaches are pretty choppy (our little one did a fair amount of crying because she was scared on the longtail boats with the bumpy ride). Once you are at the beaches, due to the fact that they are in a cove the water is pretty calm and great for kayaking though. The walk through the rocks to get from Railay Beach to Tonsai Beach is also pretty challenging when you have a little one. So I would recommend that you either hire a little longtail boat to take you from the one beach to the other, or stick to Railay and Pranang Cave Beach (the walk there is easy and stroller friendly). Any questions, please leave them below.
