A380 BUSINESS CLASS - Qatar Airways
Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 The plane has a bar! I had the wonderful opportunity to try Qatar Airways A380 Business Class a few weeks back, and my word what an experience! I was travelling from Bangkok to Doha a flight which takes around 8.5 hours. Highlights for me were of course the inflight bar which is just huge, the size and comfort of the seats, the service and the White Company pyjamas! Lastly though what really stood out was the food something which Qatar does a stellar job of! Let me know what you think to the video, it sure was fun to film and edit - and i'll be posting many more in the coming weeks. Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 In December, my mate Tom and I decided to follow the trend of TrekTrendy day trips (I was in Marrakech the previous weekend for the day) and took one of the new Eurostar trains from London St Pancras over to Paris. We arrived about 11 and were departing on the 9pm train back to London, so had a full day to sightsee, and lap up the pre Christmas atmosphere. We checked out the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Galeries Lafayette, the Arc De Triomphe, Champs-Élysées and finished with a spectacular night time view of the Eiffel tower. It was a packed day, so come along for the trip. Do let me know what you think, we had great fun filming this one, and also if you like the day trip format, considering a few more of these for 2017. Thanks guys.

Come with me and experience what it's like to fly Emirates Business Class on their A380. Try the new onboard lounge and iconic bar. What is the seat like? Is it comfortable to sleep on? Overall I loved my experience (aside from the faux wood!), you can almost forget you're on a plane when you're relaxing in the lounge. Let me know what you think to this video in the comments below and give a thumbs up if you enjoyed it! June saw my 6th trip of the year to the Ukrainian capital Kiev, and my what a trip! I flew on Ukrainian International airlines from London Gatwick for a long weekend in this incredible country. I went with an open mind and came back with a new favourite country to add to the list. We stayed centrally in the Ibis hotel, close to the University metro station allowing easy access throughout the city. In short, I experienced staggering architecture, with golden cathedrals & palaces, eat exceedingly good Ukrainian cuisine, went lifting on one of Kiev's beaches and partied Kiev style. My aim now is to educate others about this fantastic country, and encourage you to do the same. Let's change the fact we only hear negative publicity about this wonderful country, share this video to encourage others to experience the same fantastic holiday I have had #VisitUkraine

GDANSK CITY TOUR - The Polish Amsterdam
Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 I was fortunate to have about 5 days back in the summer to explore Gdansk, which to those of you that don't know is located in Northern Poland. Some highlights then.. A polish lesson... climbing to the top of Gdansk cathedral and checking out the big wheel in the centre of town. Some things that I was a little silly... jumping off the pier by the beach and cutting my leg.. and getting a tad burnt, but that's ok because i'm English. Hope you enjoy the video let me know what you think. I'd highly recommend this gorgeous city! --------- MUSIC --------- Longing by Joakim Karud https://soundcloud.com/joakimkarud

SULTANATE OF OMAN - Shangri-la, Private beaches & Bentley's!
Make sure you like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more luxury travel from around the world: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 Recently I experienced one of the most incredible, yet off the beaten track, holidays I’ve had in a long time; the Sultanate of Oman. This gorgeous country seems distant to what many may think as a suggested holiday destination, but I can assure you, it’s AMAZING! In a two part series I have documented my trip over to the sultanate, firstly exploring the opulence of the Shangri La Barr Al Jissah Resort Muscat, and then embarking on a road trip down to Nizwa and up into the mountains. You’ll notice the stark contrast between the sea side and the mountains, and perhaps find more about a place which you haven’t seen much about before. For those of you familiar with Oman I hope i’ve given a provocative insight into a perspective of luxury travel in the country, and inspired at least a couple of trips to the world class Al Husn wing at the Shangri-La. In this part of the trip I show you around the Al Husn, the club rooms, the stunning views, beaches, lazy river and even take you on a 30c run along the coastline. Whilst there was so much to see and do in the hotel you really couldn’t beat relaxing in one of the many pools or having a refreshing dip in the Indian ocean! Keep subscribed for part 2 where I head out to Muscat, Nizwa and the mountains where I stay in the exclusive 5* Alila Jabal Akhdar as well as go 4x4 offroading! Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 Flight layovers can be an awesome opportunity to explore a new city, and this is exactly what happened here. I had 24 hours in Helsinki, Finland to explore the city in between my flight from London and my flight to Gdansk. I stayed at the Hilton airport hotel over night as my flight from London arrived quite late. I made sure I woke pretty early the next day so I could have a good few hours of exploring the city. I took the new airport train which took about 20 minutes into the city costing 4 euros each way. Getting into Helsinki central station you think it's firstly quite a modern building but upon entering the main area it's got a really cool art deco feel to it. After checking the Trip Advisor app to ensure I was heading in the right direction I came across a gorgeous park in the centre of town. There also was a bunch of live music and a market on which I investigated. It was like a British car boot sale but instead in a park! I then passed a floating market selling fresh seafood and then went onto the pier to get my first look at this gorgeous city. Wow Helsinki you are amazing! I could see where I'd been walking and the three main areas I wanted to see, which as you'll see in the video were: the Uspenski Cathedral, Helsinki wheel, and the Senate Square where I was able to explore the main Helsinki Cathedral. Checkout the video and let me know what you think, but for a few hours in the city I think I managed to fit quite a lot in! ----- Background music ----- Music: Aritus – Flight by Aritus is licensed under a Creative Commons License.https://soundcloud.com/aritusmusic/flight ----- Image use ----- With special thanks to Hilton hotels for use of their hotel image.

TALLINN ESTONIA 🇪🇪 - English tourist guide
Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 Earlier in the year I had the opportunity to drop into Tallinn for 24 hours. A flying visit of course, but I had to explore as much as possible during my layover. Today I'll take you along with me as I explore this gorgeous capital city - albeit the temperatures were far below freezing. I also managed to get some pretty awesome drone shots across the city and will try to include more of these in future videos. I stayed at the brand new Hilton hotel which is a short walk from the Old Town. This was perfect for me, but there are plenty of other options in the old town which are more convenient. LUXURY RESORT AT 2,000M! - Alila Jabal Akhdar Oman tour
Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more luxury travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 I hope you enjoyed the video, and it gives you a good overview of the Alila Jabal Akhdar and the surrounding mountains in Oman. This has to be one of my favourite trips of 2016 - Oman has so many hidden gems and surprises, and Jabal Akhdar (or the Green Mountains) in the Al Hajar mountain range was certainly one which I wasn’t aware of before! We start our journey at Oman international airport, collecting our 4x4 which would take us down to Nizwa. This is actually part 2 of my Oman adventure, with the first part filmed at the Shangri La Barr Al Jissah Resort along the coastline. After collecting our Landcruiser, we headed South towards Nizwa. At which point we had to leave the main motorway and take a separate route up into the Mountains. This route is only accessible by 4x4 and this is enforced by the police so no taking your Prius up there! After an hour or so of driving up a quite steep gradient we reached the Alila Jabal Akhdar. This hotel has recently won an award of being one of the top hotels in the world, no pun intended, and it’s easy to see why, considering it’s locating it was absolutely outstanding! I take you around my suite and view from veranda. After a sleep you rejoin me from the viewpoint at the hotel, overlooking the mountain range and my word, perhaps one of the best views of my life, it really has to be said. The view was stunning. Later that day we headed over to an abondoned mountain village to explore, and whilst some of it was clearly quite dangerous (some recent collapses of buildings were evident) we carefully made our way around to view part lower settlement. It was really interested to see how the people would have lived years ago and explore an area that few people will get to see. Especially as in a few years no doubt the village will be too dilapidated to see. After being wowed by some spectacular Omani history we headed back to the Alila Jabal Akhdar to catch the sunset, again one of the best i’ve ever seen! I’d highly recommend this trip to anyone wishing to experience a different yet luxurious holiday in a new destination which need to be placed firmly on your bucket list! ----- Background music ----- With special thanks to Gil Couto for use some awesome arabic trap music Gillionaire - GXLDPYRMD$. QATAR QSUITE - World's Best Business Class?
I got the opportunity to check out Qsuites, which feature enclosed suites in Business Class. Touted as the world's best business class, I've been keen for a while to test this statement. Today come along with me and experience what this is like to fly on the A350-1000 from London which features Qsuites. As always I'll give you a breakdown of what you can expect, the food, the bed and overall comfort. Today I take you through 5 steps to the best car rental experience. NUMBER ONE Go with well known/trust company. This way you'll know the level of service to expect and you'll have the backing of a large worldwide company if anything goes wrong. NUMBER TWO Comparison websites. Vital so you can compare multiple car rental companies for the same dates/location together saving you lots of time. Also, some car rental companies are in alliances, like with the Toyota I rented in this video, I rented it through the Alamo website, but collected from Enterpise. If i had booked through enterpise it would have been £30 more expensive. Worth noting! NUMBER THREE Flexible on pickup location. Airports will always be the most expensive due to taxes etc. If you can collect from a city centre location such as a train station which is what I did here. By doing this I actually saved over 50%! NUMBER FOUR Excess waiver insurance. This is probably one of the most important points of my video today and also where car hire companies make the majority of their money. If you book a car rental for say £90 and then arrive to collect your car, they'll attempt to sell you their excess waiver insurance. Whilst the cars are fully insured, you'll be liable to pay up to £1000 if you have an accident or the vehicle is damaged. Excess waiver insurance means you'll be fully covered so you will not need to pay up to £1000 if the vehicle is damaged. This issue here is the cover which the car rental company offers is hugely inflated, often double the price of the vehicle rental. Instead, book with a third party provider before you go. You'll get the same level of cover by only pay a fraction more. In this example I paid £9 with Quester for excess waiver insurance for my 5 day rental. NUMBER FIVE Admin. There's a few additional points to note, vital for good value car hire. Check the car thoroughly before leaving and if there are ANY marks on the car inside or outside, make sure these are registered on the rental agreement. If not, you could be liable to pay on return, as you will not be able to prove these were on the car before your rental started. Nasty I know, but business is business. Do thorough checks! Next of all, on time return. Make sure you return your rental at the stated time, or else you could be liable to pay another day, not useful! Next of all, FUEL policy! Make sure you get FULL to FULL. It's become popular with car rental companies to offer full to empty, but you'll have to prepay the fuel beforehand. Don't do this, as you'll get an awful rate, and most likely find it challenging to return the car empty. With full to full just return the car as you collected it, with a full tank of fuel. Simple. Lastly and I appreciate this only applies to the UK viewers out there! The DVLA (driving authority) provide a license code which you should register for before leaving the UK. This means that the car hire company can request this code to ensure you're legally allowed to drive. This is a new requirement which came into effect in June 2015, and many are not aware. Whilst only 1 - 2 % of companies ask for this, it's best to do so as failure to provide this upon request will void the rental. What's more it's free and instantaneous online and takes just a few minutes to do. Some helpful links for you: - TrekTrendy.com - AutoEurope.com - Skyscanner.net - Quester.co.uk

THE 3IN1 POLISH CITY - Gdansk, Sopot & Gdynia
In January I flew over to Gdansk in Northern Poland for a week to explore the famous tricity, consisting of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. I booked a really fantastic airbnb, in the heart of Gdansk, costing just £15 a night inclusive of our own private sauna! Next we travelled over to the seaside part of the tricity, to the resort town of Sopot. Staying at the Mera Spa hotel we enjoyed outside jacuzzi's... yes I know crazy at -7! As an English guy I found the prospect of snow on the beach unbelievable - i'm told this is normal... I also witnessed europe's longest pier, half a km long and built over 100 years ago, quite the stunner! We concluded our trip back in Gdansk, staying at the hilton looking over the gorgeous city. Due to the coldness the river was frozen over, which was strange seeing boats frozen in the water. All in all, the trip was awesome, and a really good break away from England. Head over to my website http://www.TrekTrendy.com to see how you can enjoy the same for half the price!

Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 On December 3rd I went to Africa for the day. Specifically Marrakech. I was browsing a flight search engine a month ago, trying to find some inspiration for an ambitious day trip. We've all seen the possibilities of day trips to Paris or even Rome but I wanted further... I wanted to go to a different continent for the day. So when Marrakech, Morocco came up for £80 return from London Gatwick I spoke to my friend John (Shakes) and got tickets booked that evening. The flights took a little over 3 hours each way which worked well as it would allow us a solid 6 hours of exploring. We departed from Gatwick North terminal early at 7:45 am and arrived in Marrakech about 11am. Arrival formalities were quick, especially as we'd completed our landing cards beforehand. Passport stamped we cleared immigration and were met in arrivals by our driver who'd take us to the Mamounia palace hotel for coffee. Arriving here was magical, it was one of the grandest and unique hotels i've been to, albeit I was only there for a drink. We sat on the terrace over looking the gardens, and lapped up the morning sunshine. It was hard to believe a few hours ago we were in cold England, deicing our cars. After a drink and walk around the gardens we walked down past the Mosque and into the main square of Marrakech. To describe most accurately it felt manic but somehow organised. We got a freshly squeezed orange juice from one of the stands, which cost just £1 and was sooo refreshing. Next we walked past the market stalls, trying to prevent harassment by the restaurants until we were at the far side of the square. Here I noticed a Monkey doing some strange performance and most notably two cobra snakes swaying to the sound of music. Surreal... very surreal! We could see a rooftop terrace which looked like the perfect vantage point for a spot of lunch. We indulged in a lamb Tagine each which was lovely. Following this I just had to try some traditional Moroccan tea and this was gorgeous, very refreshing and subtly minty. Next we walked through the souks, and I was offered anything from a new carpet to erotic massage oil.. yes I know.. everything! It was a real deep dive into the culture and whilst I probably looked a little overwhelmed on some of the video, I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. We finished our afternoon having an ice cream on another rooftop terrace, overlooking the square. With our afternoon tour finished, we headed back over to the airport in an ancient Mercedes S class, which added to the experience. I think the whole time it was quite hard for me to realise where I was... waking up this morning (next day) it almost felt like a dream. Overall then, a day trip to Marrakech is indeed possible, and it's a lot cheaper than you may think! ------------------------------------ Audio ------------------------------------ With thanks to: Bad Catholics - Astapor (Original Mix) for the soundtrack

TrekTrendy - July/August Romania, Moldova, Transnistria, Ukraine epic adventure - Country #7/8 of 12
In July/August 2015 my friends and I visited 4 very interesting and unique countries in Eastern Europe in a week long journey. Arriving in Bucharest Romania, saw partying, a waterpark, a healthy dose of culture and wonderful Romanian cuisine. Next, we took a 12 hour mini bus ride up to Chișinău in Moldova. We stayed for a few nights here, touring the city, enjoying incredibly priced food, played giant chess, and even had a workout, Moldovan style complete with a Sauna. We then boarded a train which went through our third stop Transnistria, allowing us a short time near the capital city of Tiraspol. This tiny soviet state fascinated us, and I managed to get some footage of this rarely documented hermit nation. It actually seemed quite nice in the August sunshine. Our train terminated in the Ukrainian port town of Odessa. We were staying in the resort district of Arcadia, on the beach and in the heart of some of the most incredible partying we had ever experienced. I would most recommend Ibiza, a superclub on the beach. We also toured Odessa city and saw the famous catacombs under the city. Finally we took a short flight up to Kiev to finish our adventure in the Ukrainian capital with a days sightseeing and final nights partying. All in all a fantastic trip with memories which will last a lifetime.

5* TOURIST GUIDE SPAIN - Part 2: Luxury hotels, Seville, Malaga and Fuengirola
Thanks for watching guys, give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and subscribe for more weekly travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 This is part 2 of my Spanish adventure (come tourist guide to Spain) along the Costa del Sol, where I enjoyed some stunning 5* hotels, explored Seville and sunbathed on Fuengirola beach. Join me and my girlfriend on our roadtrip, pick up some useful tips on how to do the same and even checkout Malaga airports new business class lounge. *** First stop: AMA Andalusia Resort & Health Retreat you can check this hotel out here: http://bit.ly/2a1mtLI and my word what a place. It's a health hotel so expect top notch but healthy dining, excellent facilities and an awesome Spa! *** Second stop: Seville for the afternoon. I do seem to have a habit of visiting new cities in a whistle-stop manor. Seville was awesome, I checked out the Cathedral, explored the old city streets and relaxed in a rooftop bar drinking Mojitos. *** Third stop: The wonderful DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Resort & Spa Reserva del Higueron. You can check this out here: http://bit.ly/29MLGtI The room was amazing, got an upgrade which was lovely, with sea views and a bath in the middle of the room! I do wonder what it would be like to share with someone you weren't too familiar with as everything is open plan including the toilet! It's worth to note there were a couple of niggles. The facilities which I disagreed with; the rooftop pool which was chargeable to the tune of €15pp each day and a closed main pool. Overall though this was forgiven due to the room and location. Lastly we checked out Malaga's relatively new Business class lounge, which was interesting... Typical of third party lounges, they're never as plush and luxurious as airline run/owned ones. The whole lounge felt like a massive waiting room, which whilst I get is the point, it should really feel more relaxed and a space to unwind. The facilities were ok, with some basic breakfast items (being 5am), cava, beer, wine etc. As well as a computer business facility and rather odd cinema room. My flight back to Bournemouth was great, I got some shuteye, watched an episode of Game of Thrones and arrived fresh for a days work. CHAMPAGNE ROADTRIP! - England to Troyes
So you've heard of Troyes? Well I hadn't before this trip, and it's in fact an awesome town in the Champagne region of France. I think what you'll probably find more entertaining is the trouble which I faced with the French toll roads... now not that many people think about this, but being in an English car (right hand drive) all of the tolls are on the left... go figure ;) I've tried to give a perspective of what it's like to drive over to France, so the P&O ferry experience (which by the way was great!) and driving on the wrong side of the road... you know what I mean... This is the first half of my road trip last month, I actually move onto Germany and Luxembourg next (....part 2 coming very soon!).

SAUNA AT THE AIRPORT?! - Finnair first class Helsinki
Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 This was such a cool vlog to film, although I have to say it was pretty tiring, being the fact I arrived into Helsinki around midnight and then flew out again at 7am but hey! So I'd snagged a flight on Finnair's Gdansk to Heathrow via Helsinki, and whilst I'd explored Helsinki back in my previous vlog, I wanted to opportunity to try out the non-Schengen lounge at Vantaa airport. I slept for the night (or a few hours!) at the Holiday Inn Vantaa airport, which was perfectly suitable for a stopover. The good thing about most of the airport hotels near to the airport is that Vantaa airport provides a free bus linking all of these together. Perhaps a lesson which other airports around the world could learn. After a pretty good nights sleep, I caught the bus back over to the airport. I did manage to have a quick look at the countryside around the hotel, which was beautiful. I think Finland for me is unfinished business and i'll certainly back at some stage next year. After going quickly through the Business class dedicated security channel, I went through passport control and entered the non-Schengen area of the airport. This to those of you not familiar is all flights departing to countries not in the visa free Schengen area within Europe. Anyway after clearing security I walked over to the Finnair Business and First class lounge, which was usefully near to my departing gate. To my surprise I was welcomed into the First Class section rather than the business I'd been anticipating, win! The lounge is gorgeous, it may not be the largest but it was simply stunning. The lighting made it feel like a high class Mayfair cocktail club and incidentally they had an extensive cocktail menu... not that I tried out at 6am. I explored the lounge to find a few unique surprises, such as a sleeping area, wireless charging capability and a great selection of food/drinks. But the party piece has got to be the spa which includes a Sauna, which is such a crazy yet such a Finnish thing to have at an airport. Even though it was just past 6am I just had to try it. The sauna is accessible to both business and first class passengers, as the spa is an area in between both of the lounges. You just go into one of the private changing rooms, help yourself to robes, slippers and go and enjoy a relaxing sauna. Strangely due to my extensive travel recently using lounges, i've become quite used to showering in lounges, but it still is a strange thing to get used to. Most people associate airports as busy, perhaps not that clean places. So to go and relax in a spotless and beautiful spa prior to a flight is definitely the way forward. Before catching my flight I grabbed a glass of champagne, watched a few flights from my excellent vantage point (the lounge has great views across the runway) and then walked over to my departing gate. Overall a great trip and I can't wait to try out the lounges at Helsinki Vantaa airport again soon. ----- Background music ----- Music: Craig Hargrove - Keep things going higher is licensed under a Creative Commons License. https://soundcloud.com/craig-hargrove/keep-thing-going-higher

Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 I was fortunate enough to try out Business Class on British Airways for the first time recently, so thought i'd share my views with you all. I was on my way to Hong Kong for the International Travel Expo, so had close to 12 hours in BA's business class product. I've heard many mixed reviews of BA's Business Class product. To date i've tried, Virgin Atlantic Upper Class, Qatar Airways First and Business class, LATAM Business Class and Royal Jordanian Business Class, so was really looking forward to comparing the products. In all honesty I was very impressed, the soft product with regards to service was solid, the food was brilliantly presented and really tasty! A strong selection of wines and champagne. In terms of the hard product, I got a good nights sleep in BA's flat bed, though do wish they had introduced their duvet which they are rolling out currently across their long haul fleet in business class.

I stayed for my first night at the Hilton Garden Inn near to the airport and about 20mins walk into downtown Malaga. This is of course only part 1, with part 2 coming very soon which will include Seville, a luxury health spa hotel and the gorgeous Doubletree Hilton along the Costa del Sol. FIRST CLASS LONDON - American Admirals Club & Number 1 Traveller lounges
Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more luxury travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 So after my previous lounge crawling video in Heathrow Terminal 2, bit.ly/lounge-crawl i'm hooked! There's nothing quite like going straight from one 1st class lounge into another, but it's a really good way to provide a direct comparison. The following two lounges were filmed at London Heathrow Terminal 3. So first up, the American Admirals Club lounge. You enter through large automated doors and you're presented with an open space and welcoming American employees waiting to take your boarding pass / frequent flyer card. I used my Air Berlin Sapphire status coupled with my Finnair boarding pass for this entry. When you walk in you have the shower suites and bathrooms to your immediate right, and your left a random room with a bunch of chairs in... not quite sure about that but hey. You then are met by a huge open space which is the main area of the lounge. Central to this is a wine/sparkling wine counter with a good selection of red/whites. Then the party piece as far as I'm concerned; the build a burger stand... i mean wow American just wow! Different food is available throughout the day and as I was leaving they appeared to be replacing this with pasta dishes. There was also salad and soups on offer. Moving around the other side of the lounge there was a great selection of spirits, smoothies, soft drinks and sandwiches. Further along there were a couple of coffee machines. In terms of lounge seating this was split into multiple zones. One of the most creative I thought was the TV/cinema area. To the back of the lounge there were great views of the runway and some office space. One thing I just had to put in the video was the crazy selection of magazines. I've noticed the strange variety in lounges worldwide and thought i'd share my views. I mean pool and hot tub monthly?! Really? Lastly I enjoyed a shower in one of their shower suites, which was refreshing and perfect as I'd just had a long day at work so felt nice and relaxed after. Sadly this relaxation was to be short lived due to the next lounge bursting at the seems but hey. So overall the American lounge was good, but it was showing signs of wear and tear and unfortunately didn't really give me a sense of WOW. Considering this was one of their major routes out of Heathrow i'd assume this is likely to be upgraded at some point. The seating all seemed quite grey and dated. In the video I gave it a 5/6 perhaps a little harsh but I'd stick with a good 6/10. Remember the upper end is the likes of Virgin/Singapore/Emirates to put into perspective. Next I moved onto the Number 1 traveller lounge, which was a short walk away. This, like the American lounge was accessible with my boarding pass and frequent flyer card. It's the default lounge which you're assigned to when travelling business on many OneWorld airlines at T3, largely due to other lounge refurbs. In fact usually Finnair would be able to access Cathay Pacifics lounge, but this was still be refurbished. Upon entry I realised that this lounge was bursting, literally sooo many people. This is a third party run lounge, so you can access this with a Priority Pass or Dragonpass. It seemed many people had opted to do this, and at £30 a visit i'd have been disappointed. I started the video at the far end in the relative quiet, near to the spa and worked my way through. It's evident that for some first class passengers they provide individual suites, which is a nice touch. Moving around there were various seating areas, some cool swing chairs as well as lots of seating at the bar. As this wasn't airline run there was a split of inclusive and additional pay food /drink. You could purchased various Champagnes and premium cocktails if you so wished. The food selection seemed ok, with a really good selection of baked goods, some sandwiches and pasta. Finally I walked over towards the Spa and passed the cinema, which was just a darkened room with a massive 70" or so TV mounted on the wall. Overall I think this would be a really nice lounge if it wasn't packed, but sadly due to the over subscription of access it was just a free-for-all. Nevertheless i'd still give the lounge a 7/10. All things considered, providing it's quieter at other times. I hope you enjoyed the video, and I do have to apologise that the quality of the Number 1 lounge was a bit poor, i'm in process of upgrading my camera gear so hopefully lower light shouldn't effect the quality of my videos in the future. ----- Background music ----- With special thanks and credit to Joakim Karud for the background music. Please like share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 I had the opportunity to visit Kaunas in Lithuania, albeit only for a short amount of time, but I jumped at chance! Kaunas is Lithuania's second largest city, and it's where I started my journey on exploring the country. I arrived late at night on a coach from Warsaw, so woke up early the following day to explore this beautiful city. Unfortunately both the weather and the attractions were not on our side as a lot were closed due to either holiday/lunch/weather but I was sure to make the most of the time I had. I will definitely be returning in the near future to see more of this great city. Remember to tune in again soon for the Vilnius segment of this trip! SOMEONE LET ME ON A SUPER YACHT! - Multi million dollar yachts + sports cars
Last month by accident I stumbled across the Poole boat show over in Poole harbour. Being from Bournemouth I should really have been more on the ball to recognise that this was taking place but anyhow. I got the opportunity to check out the various boats, yacht and sports cars dotted around the marina, as well as the main event, just a couple of truly stunning super yachts, and one which instantly got my attention, a Sunseeker! To those that don't know Sunseeker's HQ is actually in Poole, and this is in fact where all Sunseekers start life. Sunseeker don't usually hold stock so this was actually a recently complete customer order moored up. Assuming this was more of a brand exercise as they actually let a lucky few look around it! I of course jumped at the chance. It's not everyday you get to look around a multi million dollar super yacht! Usually these are to be found in the marinas of Monaco, Pueto Banus and Dubai, but today.. rainy Poole! The boat itself was one of Sunseekers' smaller offerings, at a mere 67 foot haha. It had 4 bedrooms each with an ensuite, a kitchen which would not have looked out of place in Knightsbridge and a main deck entertainment suite. It really was awesome to see, but i wanted to share this with you all - whilst I mainly cover destinations around the world, as well as the travel elements such as planes, ferries etc, why not cover the other end of the scale.. the super yacht!

LARGEST FIRST CLASS LOUNGE?! - Turkish Airlines Istanbul Tour
Please like, share and subscribe to TrekTrendy for more worldwide travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to try out the flagship and award winning Turkish airlines lounge at Istanbul international airport. In fact some trivia for you before I begin, in the last few days it’s actually been renamed to the July 15 Heroes of Democracy lounge… Anyway, the lounge is accessible if you’re flying on one of Turkish airlines’ premium products Business class or First class. If however you’re like me and have Star Alliance Gold and you’re flying on a Star Alliance airline you can get access. The check in to the lounge is either through the automatic barriers where you scan your boarding pass (which is great and should be done in more lounges around the world) or by means of a reception area. Walking in I got a similar feeling to the gold souks in Dubai mall... I know a unique experience for an airport. One main walkway takes you into the beautiful open plan first floor of the lounge filled with natural light. There are multiple rooms off in each direction including a cinema, showers, spa, billiards and luggage store. A feature I loved was that there were multiple food and beverage stations dotted around the lounge so you never had to queue to get food/drink or indeed it didn't feel rushed like you do in some lounges around the world. We then walked downstairs to the ground floor, where I was immediately met with a pretty awesome video game arcade complete with Playstation's, arcade machines and a virtual golf course! Continuing on there was a lounge area complete with grand piano, chandelier, a sort of more formal eating area. Then the next zone, which was called the Turkish tea rooms seemed partly closed which was a shame but I could at least poke my head in to view! I then checked out the alcoholic drinks selection which was good but did lack some of the more premium spirits I would have expected to see. Also I didn't see Champagne, but I know in some lounges this is available upon request so this may have been the instance. Walking on I came across a live chef's theatre where you could order cooked food which I thought was impressive. I opted for a Turkish mezze which was excellent. I hope you enjoyed the video, I did enjoy making it although I was rather tired due to being out in Kiev, Ukraine the night before! ----- Background music ----- With special thanks to Cris Taylor - dünyam for the background music. THE FRENCH RIVIERA PART 1 - BA business class & Luxury villa
Part one of my trip over to Nice, France where I went for a long weekend to relax on the Cote d-azur. My journey starts fresh out of the office and in my car enroute to London Heathrow. Thanks to heavy traffic on my usual routing I had to lay my trust in Google maps, which whilst got me there safely, did take me on some rather interesting diversions. Perhaps most interesting was Stone Henge, not a location I anticipated on filming quite just yet. Upon arriving at Heathrow, I parked my car and transferred to Terminal 5. Now, as those of you who follow my channel already know, I try to experience as many business/first class lounges out as possible, so without exception I revisited the British Airways Galleries Lounge. I'd been here previously on my trip to Romania last summer (watch here: http://bit.ly/1slkB4j ) and a few years back on a similar routing to Nice. Due to spending a rather long day in the office I was keen to try out the showers (very refreshing before a flight!) and then relax with some champagne and dinner. The flight over to Nice was a smooth one, however we were slightly delayed in taking off. Although in true British Airways style we were assured that we'd make up the time and would arrive on schedule in Nice. Upon arriving at the airport, I was greeted by my parents (who'd been out here since the previous weekend) we drove over to our Villa, which was located about 40 minutes outside of Nice. The Villa itself is gorgeous, it had 4 bedrooms (aware I said 3 on the vlog, but I was a bit tired so let me off) 2 large verandas or breakfast/dinner as well as a large dining room, living room and kitchen. The party piece was the large pool further down the garden which has an additional BBQ area, kitchen and seating areas. I wasted no time testing out my Go Pro's waterproof capabilities. Part 2 is coming soon, will put a link within the video when this is live. Make sure you checkout some of my other videos as well as liking, sharing and subscribing!

FIRST CLASS AIRPORT LOUNGE CRAWL - Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Air Canada & United
Please subscribe to TrekTrendy TV : http://bit.ly/1WNqym8 So I decided to do something which I don't think has been done before, like a bar crawl but instead, airport 1st class lounges, all in one afternoon! After arriving at London Heathrow and fast tracking security through the dedicated First class / Gold status channel, I started off in the Lufthansa Business class lounge. If you're flying first or hold gold status you can access the coveted Senator first class lounge which of course was my next stop. You basically get given a barcode which you scan to gain access. Both lounges were quite busy, contained some great alcohol selections, as well as some good main courses and tasty deserts. Although due to the amount of people in the lounge I didn't stick around too long. I then walked 10 minutes over to satellite terminal B which contained the other lounges I was set to visit. Now I headed into the Air Canada maple leaf lounge, which was really quiet. It had a decent manned bar (although no one in attendance when I was present) with some good spirit and wine options. The food was good but I only tried some nachos whilst there. The main point which stood out to me was the bed areas, for those with long layovers, which I thought was really useful. Thirdly I headed over to the lounge opposite, which was the Singapore airlines lounge and the winner of this lounge crawl. This lounge is stunning and one of the best I've been in, worldwide. The food section was great and honestly restaurant standard. In my opinion only to be outdone by the Virgin Upper Class lounge in LHR T3. I had a great Singapore sling cocktail, as well as some butter chicken, spring rolls and a chocolate brownie to finish 5/5 SIA :) Finally the United Airlines lounge which features the largest bar at Heathrow. There were a few nice areas including the relatively extensive food section but sadly not a contender for the Singapore lounge. However I will say that this wins the best bar, and there were some great cocktails on offer but I opted for a refreshing glass of Champagne to conclude my crawl! Hope this has been useful to you all, and give the video a thumbs up if you've found it interesting and a subscribe to see more! Happy travels guys :) ----- Images ----- Thanks to Lufthansa, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines and United Airlines for the photos i've used in my introduction and for their awesome lounges at LHR! ----- Background music ----- Rock Angel by Joakim Karud https://soundcloud.com/joakimkarud Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported— CC BY-SA 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...
